Mommy's day off! - Finally!

mummy2girls replied: Lucky mommy!!!! I havent been able to do my housework for a week. i usually do it on saturdays but because jen was sick on the weekend i couldnt get anything done. And when i decided to do some last night as she slept i discovered i was out of floor cleaner and such...UGH

MommyToAshley replied: I agree, forget the laundry. Go back to bed or do something nice just for yourself. No laundry, no housework, no grocery shopping.... do something relaxing just for you!

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Well my day of relaxing hasn't gone very well! I decided to bake that Chocolate Zucchini Cake. My MIL must think I'm insane, I've called her 3 times. And just when I was about to finish it, our CAS worker dropped by. She never does that she usually calls first. So here I am in my PJ's baking stuff all over the counters and I'm covered in floor! She must think I'm insane Anyway she didn't stay that long and I've just finished the cake and was about to pour it into the pan when I realized I lent it to my mother! So I was back on the phone with my MIL (she laughed at me), she is going to lend me her pan! You know I think maybe I should have stayed in bed!

You dont have to do anything you dont want to...hehe have fun! lol i didnt see your last post..oops lol sounds like your having fun baking and all....i cant stand to bake because i always make a mess it takes me like three hours just to make cookies because i have to stop and wash the dishes and make sure i didnt get anything on the floor..it drives me nuts! Anyways i hope your having fun still...

paradisemommy replied: you know i think as soon as we become a mommy we are programed to not be able to relax..even with nobody around..i find myself lost and unable to unwind when i have free time...which is never but if i did have free time..i bet i'd be the same way....always stuff to do on my laundry list...
