Mommy hair cut?
MoonMama wrote: Okay what exactly is a "mommy hair cut" and where do I pick it up? Babies-R-Us, oh maybe Wal-Mart would be cheaper. DH's Grandma told me this morning when she woke me up at 5am, I know she gets up that early but does that really mean I have to too? And I was finally able to actually sleep. Anyway she told me I need to get a "mommy hair cut".
amymom replied: OMG! So when exactly does she go home?
MoonMama replied: Monday. Someone save me!!!
luvbug00 replied: I'd tell her she needs to get a great grandma haircut. I'm vile that way though..
C&K*s Mommie replied: you got me on what a "mommy hair cut" is.
How much ruder can she be! Geesh!
Here is a double dose of the *~*~sanity vibes~*~* ~*~sanity vibes~*~ for this weekend.
mckayleesmom replied: See...I could have fun with this old lady. The next time she comes out...put in a couple fake nose rings, mohawk wig, and tons of other fake pearcings......... ..That would get her senial mind working overdrive....
holley79 replied: I was thinking the same thing as Bri.
I wonder if they sale those magnetic nose rings somewhere near you. Go out to get a "mommy hair cut" and come back with a gaudy nose ring.
MoonMama replied: You too just made my day! And they do sell those here. And Bri maybe I'll go as far as trying to get Braed's hair to go into a baby mohawk. I don't think she would ever come back again.
mom2my2cuties replied: She might have actually meant that innocently...Maybe she thinks your current style is high maintence and she is worried that you will feel horrible afterwards because when you have a newborn, you just don't have time for high maintence hair usually. Or you are just too tired to deal with it
CantWait replied: You're to sweet!!!
I think if someone woke me up at 5am though, then told me I should get a mommy haircut, I'd have to smack em
mom2my2cuties replied: Yes but I also don't have in-laws that I must deal with frequently.
The worst my Mother in Law does to me is call me by my husbands (who I have been with for almost 6 years now) ex girlfriends name constantly when she is around. (Frankly I know abosolutely HATE the name Jennifer )
I haven't really cared for my Father In Law since meeting him - but that is because he made a stupid and hurtful remark to my husband about me and frankly, it ticked me off. Something along the lines of "You should really be careful with a woman who lets her ex husband take her son" Jeez - the whole I didn't have a job, was in school, was being kicked out of my moms house and virtually homeless didn't come into account.
And my Brother in law - Well he has 7 kids (only 4 are actually his - 3 are step children) and he brags about it, all the while begging us for money. And then roping us into go out places with them and then expecting my husband to pay for it.
Although, none of them can hold a candle to my own family...Which is MUCH worse.
However, I know live AT LEAST 10 hours from all of them so it makes it easy to not have to deal with them.
mom2my2cuties replied: OH and my Father In Law also thinks it is ok for his 7 and 8 year old to punch my 2 year old We actually gave Grandpa & Step Grandma a BIG time out and a whole lot of words for this one.
Oh And my Step Mother In Law - She is crazy as a bed bug, I love her but the woman is looney! Told me once, I don't have my daugther on 'enough' medication. Her kids take so many drugs every day they could fill up a dang pharmacy
MoonMama replied: I really wish this was the case but sadly I don't think so my current style is wake up and brush (maybe put in some Shine) and go. Seriously I am very thankfully blessed with naturally wavy, usually (naturally) volumized hair.
MoonMama replied: Oh lordy I think I would lose it big time!
mom2my2cuties replied: Thankfully I only see her at most twice a year for 1 day at a time
MoonMama replied:
My3LilMonkeys replied: Oh boy would I be !!!
Around here, a "mommy hair cut" is cutting your hair really short so the baby can't pull it.
