Mine are little, mommy's are big
coasterqueen wrote: All three of us girls took a bath tonight together. We do it often because it's easier for me to give them both a bath this way, plus Megan LOVES getting in the bath tub. It calms her down so much.
Anyways, Dh had already taken Megan out and got her dried off and clothed and I was finishing up with Kylie. I then sent Kylie out to daddy to get dressed and I dried off. When I got into the livingroom to help DH with Kylie he asked me if I wanted to hear Kylie's *latest* as he calls it. I said yes with hesitation due to the big grin on his face. Apparently Kylie came in to the livingroom, dropped her towel on the floor and touched her upper chest and said "mine are little, mommy's are BIG".
Dh didn't quite like it though, he thinks I shouldn't take a bath with them because they are going to start asking questions. Oh brother!
mammag replied: Aww that is sooo cute! What a funny girl! I don't think there is any problem at all still taking a bath with her.
Mommy2BAK replied: That is so funny!
ediep replied: cute!!!
amynicole21 replied: Hee hee!! That's a good one
JAYMESMOM replied: How funny.
Jamielou replied: That is funny. I let carley take a bath with me until she was about 3.
gr33n3y3z replied: that is so funny
MomToMany replied: LMAO!!
I think it's fine you take baths together! I can't wait to take baths witht he girls in our new tub!
Kaitlin'smom replied: not like she wont ever ask the questions
TANNER'S MOM replied: Oh I took bathes w/ my kids until they said NO! Well for the girls anyway. Even if she does start to questions..she is suppose to. She needs to see Mom comfortable in her body..to know it's ok to be comfortable w/ hers.
Sorry that was my 2 cents..lol
Plus I love the closeness of it!
mckayleesmom replied: LOL
shes such a smarty...lol
DansMom replied: They start asking questions whether you take baths with them or not That is so adorable
I take baths and showers with Daniel routinely, as otherwise I don't think I'd ever even get a bath or shower for myself, KWIM? It's efficient.
jcc64 replied: Why would dh want to prevent the "questions"? How else are they supposed to find out about things?
iluvmysweetiepies replied: Too funny!

Insanemomof3 replied: LOL cute! I think taking a bath with your girls is just fine! They are going to ask questions about things no matter what, best that they ask you early and learn from you than someone else, IMO.
I stopped taking a bath with my boys about a month ago though when Tristan (3) asked me where my "pee" was. I decided that with boys, the baths were best taken with thier dad hehe.
ions_momma replied: LOL Thats too cute!
Maddie&EthansMom replied:
That is so funny!! Maddie still takes a bath with me. She is five. She has never asked questions about me or Scotty. We aren't modest around here. I suppose when she starts to ask or pay attention we might be a little more modest (and honest). For the time being everyone is fine and comfortable with the way things are.
MommyToAshley replied:
LOL! Thanks for the good laugh!
aspenblue1 replied: Isabella has been doing that for a while. She tells Jason his are big and hers are small also. She compares everything she has with everthing everyone else has.
My2Beauties replied: That is so funny! BTW they are going to ask questions regardless of whether you bathe with them!
kidsarecrazy replied: I was in the airport over the weekend and there was a little boy, probably about 3ish and his mom in the ladies room and the little kid was in the stall with his mom and announced to everyone in there that his mom had lost her penis... hahaha. Kids are smart whether you like it or not.
redchief replied: Right on! I'd rather they asked me than the kids in school. Somehow I just feel a little better about the answers that we give than whatever myth laden nonsense they might get from their friends.
In our first apartment there was a little tiny shower a very old sink. Bathing options were few. I showered with both of our boys... Good thing about it was I hear a lot of parents say their kids are terrified of the shower the first few times. We never had that problem.
