Might seem a weird question

Despite how old you ACTUALLY are, how old do you honestly feel?
because, I'm only 21. But most of the itme I feel a lot older and I definitely feel more mature than most of my 21-year-old friends (I don't know if I AM more matur,e I just feel it ) I think because by the time I was 21 I'd been in a relatinoship for eight years, been married, had a baby, passed al my exams, moved out of home an dbeen looking after a family for a long time. Some people don't do all that until they're 40, and here's me and Jason having done it all at 21 (wel not ALL, but you know what I mean).

I know I do look my age, but I really do feel older sometimes. When I think what my 21-year-old friends (without childre) get up to . . . it really makes me feel sort of OL! How about you lot? xx

Mentally, I feel like I'm 25.

I'm going to be 30 next month

mckayleesmom replied: I feel like Im 30 or so...Im only 24...Since I have had kids...I feel kind of washed up. I use to have all the nicest clothes and cute hair styles...highlights..etc....Now my hair is almost to my butt...I hate it..but I never have time to keep up with getting it cut. (dh doesn't want me to cut it)....But I am going to get it cut today...I also never get it professionally colored anymore...too expensive. . I also have the ugliest clothes these days..but I don't want to spend money on clothes I don't expect to have to wear for long (I plan on losing wieght). Yep...I feel old....forget 30..I feel 50 sometimes...Did I mention my back hurts?

A&A'smommy replied: I don't know how old I feel sometimes I feel older and it shocks me that I'm only 19 then other times is shocks me that I'm married with a kid lol I don't know how old I feel I do feel more "mature" than most 19 year olds..

ediep replied: I'm 30, I guess i feel about my age, but if I answered the question "how old are you?" without thinking, I'd probabaly say 25.

Boys r us replied: I'll be 29 years old on the 28th of this month and in my head I eel like I'm 26 and ohh how I would love to be again! I think that was a great age and I guess the last 3 years have gone by so fast that I haven't really caught up..I'm stuck at 25 or 26..which I guess is good..I am glad I don't feel older than I am!!

huggybugboy replied: I've always felt older than I am. Probably because my now husband is almost 7 years older than me and we've been together since I was 16. We got married when I was 20 so all through highschool and college I've had one guy while many of my friends had a new date every weekend. Plus I've always had more friends my husbands age than my own because we have more in common. But then I think "Wow I'm only 24!" and feel pretty good.

Most of my friends are definitely is dif. stages in life than I am. They go out all the time party and drink KWIM? But I wouldn't trade my life for anything I love my life as it is and I love DH, DS, and little peanut more than words would ever say.
I mean who really looks back and says I wish I partyed and drank more?

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: A lot of you guys have said you feel much older than you are because you have kids...as if having kids really dates you...well I would say the opposite is true for me!! I'm 30 and although I feel thirty and act "thirty" (whatever that is suppose to feel like)...I am MORE youthful than I have been in several years, both physically and mentally!! Okay, yeah my body sags a little more from PG and I have a few more wrinkles under the eyes, but having my DS has given me so much confidence that I feel at times I can really do just about anything!! I didn't feel that way five or so years ago when I was in my twenties!!

And DH says I look even better than I did 10 years ago...

punkeemunkee'smom replied: I am 27 but I must say that most of the time I forget that! I really feel like I should be still in my early 20's. I have been with DH since I was 17-married at 18 and had DD at 23. I lost touch with sooo many people when we got married because all my friends were still out partying and looking for what I had already found! The funny(odd) thing is they couldn't understand how I did not want that lifestyle but now they are starting to realize how much I am MUCH happier than they are because alot of them still haven't found it and HOLY COW now we are getting old At times I feel 100 years older than some girls I meet that are my age who think I MUST be so bored because I 'missed out' on whatever fun they think they have been having! We are around rodeo alot and there is a saying that goes "been rode hard and put up wet" that I hear applyed to several women my age-and younger- and all I can say is Thank goodness that is not what gets said about me!!! Besides I couldn't imagine my life any other way when I think about my age I feel like I really have something GREAT (an awsome marriage and beautiful daughter) to show for my life so far!

I do! Not binge drinking or anything but socializing and going out I miss it alot!

MomToJade&Jordan replied: I turned 30 in Feb, but always forget because I feel like I'm still in my 20's. Thanks to my genes I don't even look 30 and get funny looks when I tell people I am. We age well in my family. Yes I looked like I was older when I was 15, but I finally caught up with myself in my mid 20's.

BTW Nichole! 26 was the magic age for me too! It was a wonderful year. And when I turned 27 I cried and cried. It hit me hard..I guess because 26 was magically for some reason..

If someone asks me how old I am I almost say 30
It doesn't seem like that long ago since I was celebrating my 30th???

I was thinking about Josie actually and it suddenly hit me how young she is and I go along thinking we are similar ages and when it does hit me I'm like "WHAT? I'm 10 years older than her?????" I feel like I should be the same age. Then there are times when I feel soooooo old, mostly when I think of how dh is getting closer to 40 and I feel like we are the same age so I feel like I'm getting close to 40 and get depressed. But then I'm like "I'm not that close...I still have 9 years to go, why Kristen will be 19 then...."

It's late and I'm rambling on and spilling my whole odd thought process aren't I??? I need to get to bed and rest this old body!

RayaJoysmommy replied: Most days I still think I'm 22 but really I'm 27. I don't feel close to thirty unless I think too much about my life and then I feel old. Having to become an adult at 14 makes 27 seem older than it is I guess!!

I would have to agree with some of you that have said that your children keep you feeling young. I had 4 miscarriages before I had Raya Joy and so I plan to spend all of her childhood enjoying her and her childhood with her. I love to see the world new again through her eyes.
