Might get a job...
mckayleesmom wrote: Im so exited I might be getting a job. Its only for like 14 hours a week at the Motherhood store in the mall, but it gets me out of the house a little. Me and my pregnant friend always go in there and there are always the same 2 women working. Turns out they are the owners. They had a help wanted sign up so I asked for an application. They already know us cause were in there all the time and because they found it funny that their store opened up the day Mckaylee was born so I never got to shop there (the nearest one was 3 hours away). Well she told me that all they are really looking for is someone to fill in a couple hours a week so they can spend time with their families. They were looking for someone who didn't really need to work, but someone just looking for something to do cause they don't have alot of hours to offer...THATS ME. Well she basically interviewed me right there. So Im hoping I get the job. It will at least be extra $$ for xmas...My only problem now is the fact that I have nothing to wear to a job like that. I was a caterer before. I don't have nice clothes that don't go with Jeans. I have some sweaters and stuff you would wear to a club that don't fit me, but other then that,,,notha....Oh well...Ill figure out something.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Good Luck!! I hope you get the job. That is so exciting! Every Motherhood store I have been in they dress really casual. So, it shouldn't be too hard to find something to wear. I was just in there the other day as a matter of fact and a friend of mine used to work there, too. It should be a great opportunity for you to make some extra money and get out of the house for a few hours.

if you have a second hand store nearby, i would check them out for some nice work clothes. they are really cheap and you can find really nice name brand clothes there (you just have to look)...that's what i did when i first got my job working downtown where everyone dresses to the hilt...just be sure to wash the clothes real good

Try Target for clothes, they aren't that expensive
