Miami Ink - does anyone else watch this?
tammyhopkins wrote: I have started watching Miami ink about month and a half ago. i have yet to watch one where i am not crying sometime through out the show. Good show but all those portraits they do are very sad.
TheOaf66 replied: I am getting more and more into it, although it really really makes me want to get my tat
Mommy2Isabella replied: I watched it last night ... MAN I WAS CRYING with the baby from SIDS and then the mom that got the 4 butterflys ...
I had to go and get bella out of her crib so I could hold her ...
Calimama replied: I love it! DH is a big fan of tattoos.
punkeemunkee'smom replied: They do some pretty cool tattoos on there. I love Kat's portraits! Some of them are soooo life like! If you don't have any you better watch out-that show is the reason I went and got mine done! I had always wanted one and watching that made me think Why not???
tammyhopkins replied: I watched it last night too and i was balling like crazy. But i do agree i have no tattoes but it makes me want one. they never seem to act like it hurts at all. It has to though
Calimama replied: I know! I always wonder how they can sit there so calmly! I'd be lol.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: I watched an episode.... when it first started. The show's not for me.
But I do have several tatoos.
Calimama replied: So how does it REALLY feel to get one?
tammyhopkins replied: I wasn't into it at first but nothing else on one night and passed by and thought hey that Ami is kinda hot in his own way LOL now i am hooked he is up there with tim McGraw and Matt Mcconaughey.
punkeemunkee'smom replied: Really mine did not hurt that bad...It wasn't like a kitten licking you but it wasn't horrible. Some parts of it hurt more than others and I know some places hurt more but mine is pretty good sized and I would do it again in a minute. The guy did say I must have a high pain tolerance so don't go by me alone
Mommy2Isabella replied: I have one on my lower back ... it didn't hurt at all ... just like a vibration ... The closer he got to my spine, I was a TAD uncomfortable.
I sat there and talked to the guy the whole time.
I am going to get some additions to my current one and get another one after the baby(s) are/is born ...
HuskerMom replied: I agree, I think it depends on where it is. My first one hurt bad but the lines are really thick. It felt like he was just cutting me with a razor blade or something. Another one of mine didn't hurt at all, I almost fell asleep when he was doing it.
I do love that show though, everytime I watch it I want to run out and get another tattoo.
Kaitlin'smom replied: I have seen a couple episodes. Not bad but if I watch them I would be getting more tats, I want one more, I have 2 now. LIke others said depends on where you get them and who does them. Mine really did not hurt, a bit uncomfortable in spots. Can also be uncomfortable after as well but as long as you follow the care set for you, its fine and they heal pretty fast.
