Message Board Lingo - for a newbie like me

MommyToAshley replied: If you look at the top right hand side of the page, you will see a link to "common abbreviations"... this will bring up a window with a list of the abbreviations.

MommyToAshley replied: If you go to My Controls at the top of the page, then edit your profile... if you put in your Yahoo IM number it will automatically put the icon at the bottom.

YMMV is "your mileage may vary", usually added to a statement of how something worked or didn't work for someone, or what their experience was in any subject, and meaning you may not have the same results...
BD is "baby bancing (sex)"...
LMP is last menstrual period ...
AF is used for "aunt flo" (menstrual period) by a lot of people...
LOL "laughing out loud"...
ROFL "rolling on floor laughing" or any variation thereof, like roflol, roflmao (-- "laughing my arse off"), roflpimp (-- "peeing in my pants" a common one in use by very large preggo women LOL)...
(m) or (nt) on a thread title line mean: (m) more inside (as in... more info etc. inside the thread) and,
(nt) no text, meaning the full message is in the subject line of the thread.
