Megan's Birthstory and pictures

coasterqueen wrote: Hi everyone. Still trying to get into the swing of things but thought I would post a link to Megan's webpage so you can read her birth story and see pics if you want. I haven't had a lot of time to edit things so pardon any mistakes out there. As DH said, my birth story is too long and the "going home" pics of our family are AWFUL. I got home on the scale when I got home and only lost 2.5 pounds! I'm still soooooo swollen but they said I could because I got somewhere between 5 and 7 IV bags Dh said and I also had 2 bolis (sp?) in my epi so that could be what is swelling me so bad. So disregard those pics.

Kylie is having a very hard time adjusting to not having mommy and daddy all to herself so it's been a bit stressful and I'm still having LOADS of issues with nursing but we are getting through things. Kylie is going to daycare tomorrow while Ryan gets some things wrapped up at work so if Miss Megan and I get some time will pop in tomorrow and catch up.

coasterqueen replied: Thanks Kirsten. It really wasn't that hard of a labor, a piece of cake compared to Kylie. It was just that things progressed so fast in the morning and then all of a sudden everything stopped. That was a bit frustrating.

It looks like you're all exhausted . . . I hope that Kylie gets used to her new sister son. She is looking so grown up in those pictures btw, she is becoming SO beuatful! Where did all that hair come from? xx

p.s. I laughed out loud at Ryan driving 90 m.p.h. trying to get to the hospital! Poor guy-he must have been panicked!

Lol at Ryan speeding to the hospital! It sounds like he was great during the whole ordeal though!

mummy2girls replied: AWWWW sorry about that rough labour you had to go through! the epidural slowed down my progress as well! So by the time i started to progress again my epidural wore off:( Congrats on the VBAC. And congrats on the beautiful healthy girl! She is a doll!
