Megan gained weight!

coasterqueen wrote: Megan has finally gained weight. She saw her ENT the other day and in 6 weeks she's gained 1.5 pounds. Woohoo!!!!! So she's 30 pounds after several years of not gaining! I am just amazed at how different she is now. She's a totally different child (well except the devil horns laugh.gif ) than she was before. She's eating non-stop, too, which I'm trying not to complain about. tongue.gif

We see her Pedi Gastro doc next week so he can give us some more information on the lactose deficiency and hopefully have that last lab result back. thumb.gif

We are going to re-introducing some of the allergen foods this summer when school is out to see how she does with them. In a way I'm a bit scared and would rather not since things are going so well, but we are going to give it a try anyways.

moped replied: That is WONDERFUL news - I was just thinking about her the other day! love2.gif

coasterqueen replied: Thanks everyone. We are a bit more relaxed now that we know what is going on.

She had a bit of bathroom issues yesterday and this morning due to the milk rabbit (he wasn't lactose-free), so hopefully in a few days she'll be feeling better once it's through her system. blush.gif

PrairieMom replied: that is great news! it must be such a relief for you and your family to finally know what is going on, and start moving in the right direction. thumb.gif
