mom21kid2dogs wrote: We made a speedy trip to the river and we LOVED what we saw!! Someone was calling to inquire about him and the shelter worker said "He's on his way out the door with his new family." We loved the sound of that!

He's a young adult (we're guessing about a year old) and weighs 28lbs. He acts pretty lab (very exuberant ) but treed a squirrel tonight so there must be a beagle in him somewhere . He can get through our fence with relative ease so he'll need to be tied til we remedy that. He's already learned to sit, is VERY food motivated and no house accidents yet. He seems neither overexcited about food or chewing. He is, however, not altered so that's on next week's agenda. He really *loves* his sister .

Oh, and he looks alot happier outside of the shelter fence, don't you think?

mom21kid2dogs replied: Awww . . .thanks for the replies! Olivia loves him. She got mad last night 'cause she said I was petting him too much and she didn't have room to pet him. (i'm not thinking he's minding any & all attention! ) She also said "Mom, it looks like we put Bailey (our dearly departed lab mix) in the dryer and shrunk him!!"
