Me and jenna involved in car accident!

mummy2girls wrote: I had just picked up jenna and was on my way home. I had approached a bunch of cars at a red light and was sitting there waiting. All of a sudden i hear a SCREAAAAAACH! i m thinking i wonder where that is coming from and within 2 seconds BOOM! right in the back of my car! My head flopped forward really hard. jenna then says... Owie momma someone hit us! i started to panic. I get out and within 10 seconds jenna starts to wail a blood curdling scream. I almost collapsed right there. The driver that hit me came up to me and i asked very nicely what happened. were you not looking? I have a 3 year old in the back. And she looks at me like how dare you ask me that! I almost flipped. We exchanged info and she then left. I pulled over to the side and called aron... bvawling! I told him we got hit and he said ok shelly take a deep breath.. take jenna to the er and ill meet uyou there! so i do. but its a 4 hour wait so we went to the police station and i filed a report and they had to file an injury report! then the police called this girl and left a messgae for her to come down and such. and then arons sister pulls up. aron left and jennifer went with me to the medi centre. My back at this time is sore and i cant move my neck very well. So i have wipelash and jenna is fine. So i then call my boss and apologize that i cant come in to work tomorrow and i explained what happed. She said dont worry shelly you need to take car of youa nd jenna. if you need friday call me tomorrow and let me know. so now i have to call my insurance company and klet them kniow what haopopendd and such. I then cakll my mom and tell hera nd she started to get upset and i told her i was ok! Now i have to get my car fixed and so much more! Out of all this arona nd his sister came to my rescue and was a lot of help! Even though aron can be a butt i can always count on him for things like this...

CAMSMOM1 replied: Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! Thank God you guys are alright! I can't believe that lady didn't even care about Jenna in the car! I'm glad Aron was there for you. I hope you get some rest, and take care of yourself. The day after you really feel a lot of pain and soreness.

PhiMuMommy replied: Thank goodness you guys are ok! i got rear ended with alex in the car the week i got my brand new car! we were ok.. but alex refused to go into carseat after that. (of course i made him but he freaked everytime i did) so be careful if anything like that happens with Jenna!

ammommy replied: Oh, how scary. I'm glad that you are both OK. Don't sign off on any medical expenses just yet, though, if her insurance company asks you to. Neck and back injuries can be long term problems that insurance companies won't want to deal with.

Okay here is my professional advice, dont sign off on med yet take your time, MAKE them pay for a new Car Seat the one you have now may be unsafe, we always tell this to peopel with young childern, a car seat must be replaced after and accident. Since they are paying for damamges this should be included. If you need anything let me know.
