Maternity/Pregnancy pictures

kit_kats_mom replied: #2 I just like B&W pics and so I bought a load of black fabric, hanging on the wall, and a lot of white fabric. I wore comfy clothes and made sure that I was comfortable with the photographer.

kit_kats_mom replied: We were trying for a different effect for this one. I was shooting for "the loving hands of the mother caressing her unborn child" I think we ended up with "buddah after a buffet"

kit_kats_mom replied: Final one. BTW, be careful if you do a search for pregnancy pics. I really searched the internet for inispiration but there is alot of sick preggo porn out there. I was suprised. I'll look to see if I still have any of the good links and post them if I do. Also, I really wanted a pic with DH and I. That never happened. I personally like the ones where my face is hidden though. They just seem more artful. Besides, I'm not really the focus anyway.

It was my aunt who took them so I was really comfortable with her. Also we were at my house and finally, they were digital so I could erase the flaws.

DansMom replied: DH took some Demi Moore style photos of me when I was 8 months preggo. They are pretty good, but would require substantial editing to show here I really love having those photos to refer to and to remember what I looked like. I agree that having a friend/relative take them makes you more relaxed, and I went that route. But if you want super-professional shots I would do a search on Google for pregnancy photographers in your area. If you get photos done, we want to see them!

Maddie&EthansMom replied: OMG Cary!! You look fantastic! I wonder if I could do some with my tripod and professional camera just in my living room? I have some B&W film. I might try that first and if it is a dud, I will go somewhere. It would be nice to surprise DH with some. I want him to be in them, but he won't go for it I don't think. Thank you so much for sharing those with me. And I will check out the links for more inspiration. That is funny that you mentioned the search for maternity pictures b/c I did that last night and there were some pretty racy pics out there.

Kaitlin'smom replied: great pics! I only have one of me while PG it was taken at christmas when I was sitting so its not a good shot of my belly, I wanted to get one but she came early and I did not get the chance

MomToJade&Jordan replied: Wow Cary those pics are great. I never had the pregnant belly. I carried so high you could never really tell that I was pregnant. I had a pic of me while I was preggo, but I think DH deleted it. Oh well.
