Where I live (about 2.5 hrs from New Orleans) you CAN NOT do that. You would be arrested in like 2 seconds. So you just catch beads by yelling for them.

But I'm hoping to go to N.O next yr. My inlaws go every year, and we didnt go this yr & I was pregnant for the 2 Mardi Gras before that. My inlaws were telling me about the ppl in N.O. and this funny story about these 3 girls with a sign that said "We SWALLOW" and how they were getting beads SHOWERED upon them. Too funny, and very clever.
