Man do I hate spiders!

My2Carebears wrote: I was cleaning up the living room and Stuff Like i do every saturday(or at least try to) So I went back over by my couch and there sits this HUGE spider. I was like OH NO!!! well i tried smacking it off the couch and I swear this thing lunged at me. LOL i even tried to suck it up with a vaccum and it wouldn't go up! Finally it disappeared and then reappeared when Angel was out there( and Man did Angel freak about it) .. So I yelled for Abri to get my shoe since it was now on the floor and I smooshed it ...lol... then i sucked it up the vaccuum. Gosh i hope its really dead, if not it will be with all that dust and crap in the vaccum. LOL i wanted to share my morning adventure. I know you must think i am crazy.

I actally called DH on my cell phone once to come home from a bar because a big spider had come out of a pile of clothes in the closet when I was cleaning it out. The closet was by the door and so I was trapped in my room . He came home and went through the entire closet trying to find the wicked thing. The entire time I was jumping on the bed freaking out that he was going to be killed by the spider or that it would fly across the room at me. He finally killed it. My hero
Luckily, NOT, I live in a forest and I am surrounded by huge spiders. As long as they stay outiside, we can co-exist ok.

My2Carebears replied: LOL... Sorry to give yo all the chills! I hate spiders so much and the bad thing is, SO does my Hubby!! We both tell each other to take care of the bugs, most of the time he does it though...lol. I wanted to pass out, but i was afraid it was gonna bite Angel if I didn't get rid of it when i did. I am gad its gone!!

MommyToAshley replied: I hate spiders too, well, any kind of bugs. I always make DH come kill them for me. I did kill one once when DH was not home and it was in Ashley's room ! So, I am not quite as bad as kit-katsmom, but I am a close second!

Anyone have tons of ladybugs everywhere this year? They seem to be all over the place. They are supposed to be good luck, right? I sure do hope so!

One day when my dh (he was my fiancee then) was taking me home and in the corner of my eye in his truck i saw this small spider i screamed my head off LOL scared him to death he though there was something in the road or something LOL i seriously thought i was going to cry because of a little spider....how weird am i!?! And then last night we watched Treasure Plantet and there is this ugly talking spider thingy on it so then i dreamed that there was a spider after me and then i dreamed a bat was after me and i couldnt move so i was screaming my head off in my dream. LOL anyways sorry i went on and on i just thought it was funny!

LOL!!!!! The funny thing about that is if I had been there I would have been freaking out right along with you. I know for a fact that they can grow them big and hairy in Florida. I'm the same exact way. I hate them. That post gave me the heebie jeebies. I have had to kill some on occasion and I hate that worse then them actually being in the room with me. I once went into my garage at home to get some laundry and there was this huge wolf spider just crawling along the ceiling. It looked like it wasn't going to stop until it got over me and jumped on me. I didn't stay in the garage. My parents house is way out there in Golden Gate in Collier County and I have seen spiders you could saddle and ride around on. I know that they kill bugs, but we have lizards and stuff to do that. Now I'm going to be looking all over the house for spiders today. I haven't seen any really big ones here in Hawaii, but I'm sure today will be the day.

You've never seen one of those cane spiders? They are seriously as big as an adult hand. UGH! That's what started my whole spider phobia. *shiver*

No I haven't had the misfortune of running into one of those yet. And here I was thinking that the spiders stay relatively small here. Dang it.

Up here...we have dock spiders. Gross things.... they hang out by docks in the water (hence the name... ) and they grow between 1 and 3 inches across. Ew. There are also Wolf Spiders.... which are more in like wood-y areas...same size...both are hairy...

Gross. I hate spiders. I have a gross-ness factor of squishing them.... the sound and feeling makes me gag, so I usually place a cup on top of it until DH gets home. If he ain't coming home anytime soon...I put the cup over it, and I use a piece of sturday paper, slip it under the cup...and fluch the darn bug.

I hate BUGS.
