Major Prayer Request

I've been really sick. I debated whether or not to say something on FB and I might still, but I wanted you guys to know beforehand.

I haven't been here a whole lot because I've been having really bad headaches. Twice this month I had stroke-like episodes. For about 2 hours I lost my memory and my speech. It was more like slurred speach, but it made no sense. I knew in my head what I wanted to say, but it didn't come out right. Really it was just crazy talk. I couldn't focus and when I would try to text or write something it made no sense. At one point I didn't know my birthday or my kids names.

Scotty was out of town both times and I can't even begin to tell you how scared I was. I think I'm more scared that it will happen again.

I called my friend this morning--feeling so blessed he is a neurologist and he can help and I don't have to go through the referral stuff. He wants to see my right away so I will be there in the morning--Scotty is driving me since it's 2.5 hrs away.

I would appreciate any prayers.

mckayleesmom replied: Tons of prayers. A girl I use to work with had a similar episode once while at work and it turned out to be something with her pottasium in her system...I believe it was not enough potassium.....Tons of prayers.

I can imagine how scared you must have been, and I am glad you are able to get it checked out so quickly. It could be so many things, many that are easily treatable, so don't assume the worst (I know easier said than done). Thank you for letting us know, I will be praying and thinking of you all day.
