lisar wrote: I was wondering if I mail something from the US to Canada like a letter not a box do I have to fill out those forms to do it. Or can I just slap a stamp on it and it go there. Please let me know. Thanks... I need to mail something to canada for work and I dont really wanna go all the way to the post office if I dont have to.
J-rod replied: i believe you still gotta fill out the papers and file the customs form. it is still going out of country. i sent a M/O to canada once and i believe i had to fill out customs papers.
sparkys2boys replied: I think that you can just stamp it and away you go, just call the post office perhaps
CantWait replied: Well when I mailed your ornaments in the puffy envelope I had to fill out a claim form. If it's just a letter, no forms required.
lisar replied: Thanks everyone I am gona try it. If I get it back the oh well I will go to the post office then. LOL.. I really dont wanna drive over there. Its about 20 minutes away. Thanks again.
3_call_me_mama replied: A plain old letter is just mailed in an enveloope with a 60 cent stamp (UNLESS TEH PROICE HAS INCREASED) and nothing is filled out. My mom has customers for her business that live in Canada and she mails out bills to them every month and it's nothing that warrrants delcaring or a PO trip. So just make sure you have theright postage.. it's more than a regular US stamp.. butyou cna find out hte exact price on USPS.com HTH
J-rod replied: looks like its $2.85
im probably wrong though
TANNER'S MOM replied: I sent a Christmas card to Canada on Monday and it wa 64 cents I believe. Go to USPS.com and see what the rate is.
moped replied: I agree.....
kimberley replied: no forms necessary.. it is a 64c stamp and could take up to 4wks.
j-rod, that is like fed ex or some kinda courrier price
J-rod replied: came right off usps site for rates.
Kaitlin'smom replied: gosh when I mail card to Cananda I was told my my mailman just put 2 stamps on it and it will get there. so that would be .78, they have always made it that way.
coasterqueen replied: Ok, well I mailed something to a fellow canadian just today (well ordered it online and sent it) - guess it might not be there in time
