MIL in hospital - Prayers & PT's Thanks

I took my MIL to the doctors today (under protest from her). He immediately admitted her to the intensive care unit at the hospital. Her heart rate was over 180. She has stablized some this evening. I will be spending the next few days running between here and the hospital. We live in a small town ... so unfortunately the hospital is 20 miles from here.

I ask that everyone send her positive thoughts and many prayers. Thanks.

amymom replied: Thanks for the prayers. I really need them. Knowing that you all are praying for us means so much. I just spoke with the hospital; She had a restless night but her heart rate is down. Who wouldn't have a restless night in the hospital!!!

She is doing much better now. It was "artial fibrullation" Spelling?? sorry too tired to look it up!

They tried meds to make it better but that didn't help complete, so they shock the heart to bring it back into rhythm. It worked on the first try and she is now sitting up in a chair.

I went down there this morning around 9am and came back here to get DD off the bus at 3:30. Not sure if I will go back tonight, I will call the hospital later and see how she is doing. DH went to the hospital at 6am and is hopefully on his way home now. It is hard being so far away from the hospital!!!

Anyway I appreciate all the good thoughts and prayers. I will update and catch up with everyone later on this weekend.
