MIA this weekend. - (little long)

Friday night DH surprised me and we took the boys out to Penningtons (Thomas fell asleep on the way there and that was a blessing because he and his brother will not sit still together long enough for to tie my shoes). 1 hour later and $200 later I came out with some great new clothes and managed to save 30% off the bill, got a pant suit, 2 blouses for work, 2 pairs of pants and 2 camisoles for under the suite. All this because we celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary yesterday(Saturday) and DH didn't know what elese to get me.

Saturday we went to the Ex. for 5 hours and I totally forgot to eat all day, even with all the delicious junk around I wasn't hungry. Boy were we bushed . Then we went out for dinner to Milestone's and celebrated with some delicious semi-CORE food.

Today DH is gonna fix my brakes on my care and we are just hanging out. My cousin had her 5th baby yesterday and I can't wait to see her next weekend. She had a baby girl (her second girl) and they named her Mercy Grace Mxxxx. MGM I thought that was cute, maybe she will be a film star and work for MGM. lol

Okay gonna run, hope every here is staying safe from huricane Katie if you are in her path, P&PT's coming your way. Brianne good to here they moved your appt up for the surgery. LisaR hope yours went well and you are resting. Everyone else hugs and congrats to those that want and need them. I will try and post more later this evening.

booey2 replied: Well he kinda felt guilty because I have been wearing the same pair of pants for a year because I didn't want to admit or buy more pants at the size I am cus I have lots in the closet that are a size smaller that I need to get into. Otherwise he did okay, he had to buy himself pants a little while ago and had to go up a size and now knows how I feel buying clothes. Why is that whenever they(men) need clothes and stuff they just buy it no questions asked but if we (women)need something (like I did) we feel guilty buying it and spending money???

don't feel bad....I don't have 1 pair of jeans that fit me right now....and I dread shopping for pants I don't plan to stay in......btw..thansk for that ww info.

I don't know why us women feel guilty about it, but I know I do for sure. My Dh won't go get clothes, he'll just whine and whine and whine until I go get them for him. He hates spending money on clothes.

Good question. My DH is an attorney so he needs to look good at work. I work in the hospital and I wear scrubs. So, for what he spends on 1 suit, I can get like 7 or 8 outfits. But I still feel guilty everytime I buy a new top or pants. Goofy.
