Lovely anniversary

kit_kats_mom wrote: This morning I woke up and Katherine and DH were gone. They finally came home with a few starbuck coffee concoctions for me to choose from. Then, K gave me the gifts she picked out (chocolate and a picture holder) and DH gave me the gift from him. I needed a new gym bag and if it can hold K, I'm sure it can hold all of my gear.

Then we cleaned the house & napped. K and I took a walk in the neighborhood to look at the alligators (it's 70+ degrees here today) and had a short playdate with a neighbor girl. My mom showed up, we had pizza for dinner, sang happy birthday for Lauren and had some cake then DH and I went to the movies. We are home now, drinking champange and listening to the fireworks.

even though I still feel sick, I've had a happy day!

It's so funny to read "we took a walk to look at the alligators" It may be common in Florida, but you don't hear that much here in Ohio.

Sounds like the perfect day for the perfect family! Not everyone can say they get fireworks on their anniversary. HAPPY anniversary and New Year!

I think the alligator thing is pretty funny too- but I sure would love a 70 degree day here.
