As you can tell from my avatar Caydence is a thumb sucker too and honestly I think it's a billion times better than seeing a baby walking around with a pacifier hanging out

I think the one downfall is you cannot take it away ever... two weeks ago when she caught the flu she sucked her thumb for literally 24 hours straight (in between coughing and sneezing) and it was as raw as I've ever seen.

If she doesn't give it up by the age of two I may think differently... but for now she only sucks her thumb when she's sleeping or when she's upset so I don't see it as too big a deal.

Now my almost 3 year old still sucking her thumb, not so much. But since she only does it when she's tired I can't complain too much.

Allie sucked her thumb a little bit too and I thought it was so cute. Luckily she gave both her thumb and the nuk up when she was 6 months or I probably wouldn't be thinking it was so cute anymore.
