SOUTHERN MOMMY replied: Yes i know her but i don't know her enough to just give her money i however have just spoke with her and offered to let her stay in our guest house free of charge until she can find something else no matter how long it takes i will even buy them groceries and god those kids have to have some clothes and i will do anything i can to help them they don't even have shoes so she will call me back in a few min. and let me know what she is going to do so if she comes the first stop on the way back is walmart

I am not sure i think she rents it but i was just thinking if she does rent it those people should be beat for allowing it to get that bad and just to think of paying rent on that just makes me sick but, i suspose it is better than nothing and i am sure there are worse out there im going to be checking out the law about renting

ammommy replied: If she does rent and the landlord does nothing to fix these horrible living conditions, she needs to contact (or you can for her) the local housing authority. Slumlording is illegal.

3xsthefun replied: That is really nice of you to offer her to stay in your guest house. I really feel bad for them having to live there. I hope that they take you up on your offer or find somewhere else to go.

Is there a program in your area, that helps build houses for low income families? If so maybe she could check into something like that.

mammag replied: I agree, find out for sure if she is renting it because they can't let the places remain in that condition and will have to make the repairs. They will be in my prayers.

Can you imagine how she feels having no other choice but to live there I will tell you one thing i am truly so blessed to have the things i have i can not imagine not being able to buy my kids clothes and shoes. well, all is well right now they are in the pool and having a blast
