Logan's 3 year stats

Silver lining of having a smallish child... I can easily pick him up and remove him from wherever we are when he has a tantrum. He's easy to snuggle and his head still fits under my chin when he's on my lap. Food bills are smaller.

He must be a skinny little guy - Madison is just barely 36 in tall and weighs 38 lb!

Yep, he's a skinny guy. But so long as he stays on his own curve, our ped hasn't shown too much worry. He's a picky eater, but so are a lot of toddlers. What do you do?

At this rate, Logan may hit 38 pounds when he goes into 3rd grade. LOL. He'll be in booster seats in middle school.

lovemy2 replied: First - way to Grow Logan - he is growing and as you and your Ped have said that is all that matters - don't feel too bad - Olivia at age 5 1/2 weighs in at 34 1/2 lbs - at her rate - she will go to college in a car seat Same as your Ped - mine has said - she is on an upward curve - granted its her own little chart but it is still growing and that is all that matters - for me - she didn't inherit her Momma's hips, butt and thighs so I am very grateful - Dylan on the other hand - well he is almost half way to his sister weight at 9 months

I constantly have to remind myself that you have a wee one and he's older than Megan. He's only 6 ounces heavier than her. They might be around the same height though. Just curious what is his projected height to be? Megan is projected to be around 4'2" to 4'4" at the most. I also try to remind myself that being short and skinny is probably best.

Another positive to them being so teeny tiny is when you cradle them in your arms they still feel somewhat like your baby. I know that sounds silly, but I can cradle Megan. When Kylie was that age she was so huge she didn't feel like a baby when cradling her. So Megan, to me, gets to be my baby a bit longer than Kylie did.

We haven't got a projected height. He's in the 25% for height, sits at the 1% for weight. LOL. Our ped literally has to use his calculator to figure it at each visit. My guess is that he'll be pretty similarly built to his dad. Aaron's just 5'9". If Logan gets there, we'll count ourselves lucky. I'd hate for him to be one of those under 5" men. That's got to be so hard. Go Megan. Karen, want to get them engaged now. They'd have really cute kids. JK

They project that's as tall as she'll ever get? Wow - I didn't know they could actually figure that stuff out this young - I always thought those were just wive's tales.

Yep, I can baby him just a little longer, carry him around if I want to, etc. Not that he lets me do as much of that these days No matter how little he is, he's a "big kid" now. I'm not even allowed to call it "babysitting" when my sister watches him. It's "kid sitting".

noimthesister replied: Wow, Logan's even smaller than E! E is the same height but 28 pounds. It's horrible trying to find clothes that fit now that it's getting cooler because he has long legs but nothing to hold the pants up with.

His baby cousin is 4 months and 18 pounds.

Sort of off-topic, but where do you get pants for your skinny toddlers?
