Logan is driving me crazy
MyBrownEyedBoy wrote: He is being a total two year old this week. Yesterday when I came home from work, he took one look at me and yelled, "No!" and ran away. Then after I folded all the laundry and put the basket by the stairs (he was upstairs with Aaron) he snuck down while I was cleaning up the den and silently took every stitch of clothing out of the basket and threw it over a 6 foot area then sat in the basket. He left a french fry trail from the kitchen to the living room, figured out how to work the lotion pump and ate about 4 squirts worth and must have thrown at least 5 blocks at my head. All this in a 2 hour time period. And his favorite new word is "Watch". Which he says right before he does a running leap at your head or off the couch. One of us is going to end up with a concussion, I swear it. Some days I wish I had a girl. LOL
ataylorm replied: Let me tell ya, I have a boy and a girl, and my 2 year old girl is far rowdier and more onry than our son. He did his share of rough housing and disaster making, but I think his sister got 2x the dose!
PrairieMom replied: you think 2 is bad? wait for 3 years. (shudder)

CantWait replied: Oh WOW Logan really has turned into a little boy. Just remember some of those things you wish for when he was in for surgery, then you can grin and bear it...
luvbug00 replied: has he been punished for the things he has done? Personaly I don't let the age sterotypes be an excuse for bad behavor. be stong and goodd luck!
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: He got time outs for each of the block episodes and one for the laundry. But as for the jumping and the french fry trail, I let those slide. He has truly started to grow up.
punkeemunkee'smom replied: Totally NOT laughing at you! I just got a mental image of the jumping off the couch I would tell you it gets better but then I would be lying and I don't want to lie to you Time to get some soft nurf balls and tell him you can't throw things at mommy's head-daddy is really better to play catch with As for the flying leaps-give him a cape and go buy some pillows for a landing pad
redchief replied: Well, Kelly, I am laughing... But I've earned it.
It'll get better, I promise.
mom2my2cuties replied:
These two are such common occurences in our house - the never even get a second thought
Only instead of throwing the laundry in a circle - she prefers to just throw it over the railing to the hall below the stairs.
My3LilMonkeys replied: I am at the laundry thing - mainly because the girls just emptied an entire basket of (thankfully dirty and therefore not folded) clothes all over their bedroom floor. Then Brooke helped Madison climb into the basket and started putting the clothes back in on top of her.
AlexsPajamaMama replied: Im so happy to hear Im not the only one with a wild two year old little boy No matter how much he gets outside to run off his energy, there is a never ending supply...
Hugs for you!!
moped replied: Well I hear ya..........Jack says WATCH all the time, and repeats everything 10,000 times............mommy, mommy mommy or wanna play wanna play wanna play - constant chatter.
luvmykids replied: I'm all too familiar with the "let's dump out the clothes and pretend the laundry basket is a space shuttle" Hate to tell ya, three is worse than two
Nina J replied: You poor thing
holley79 replied: Oh gosh I can't wait.
to you dear.
My2Beauties replied: Welcome to those wonderful Terrible 2's, wait until he tells you to shut up Well at least mine has done that on more than one occassion This too shall pass hon!
PrairieMom replied: you have a space shuttle? we have a race car.
kimberley replied: lol i know those days all too well. it is good to hear he is a very healthy boy
