Lock the front*back,side w/e* door!

I always have my doors locked. Being home with the kids all day i dont want to take any chances.

CantWait replied: I keep my front door open but my screen door closed and locked. I use to keep them unlocked, but Anthony can open the screen door now so I lock the door now.

Nathansmom replied: I sure lock them all now, but I always locked the front door, just sometimes left the screen door open (I am not on the ground floor)

~KARA~ replied: Just lock them at night(unless we arent home) the front screen door can be locked and to get in teh side door you have to go throught 1 of 2 gates for the fence. On is right outside the side door and the other one has an alarm on it. I know when anyone is coming or going!

kit_kats_mom replied: every door & window locked all the time. I am so paranoid that I won't even open the house windows if I'm home alone with the kids. We had a lot of daytime home invasions where the women got beaten and raped in our town last year. One time it was at a home daycare and the guy also beat a child. Sick & scary.

TANNER'S MOM replied: Well, I live in the middle of nowhere.. I don't lock. Ever. Not during the day or night.. home or gone.

That bit me in the butt with the freak neighbor boy.. but he is gone back to Memphis now.. and I can be lazy and not lock!

party-of-six replied: Front door is locked and safety latched (kids cannot reach that, but can undo the dead bolt) at all times. I do have the windows open, but they are opened from the top.
My back door, which opens into a privacy fenced back yard is always open during the day. The gates into the yard are locked from the inside. The kids cannot undo them.

I am not too worried about home invasions, my little wire fox would literally kill anyone who got into this house with just me or the kids here.

Yeah we lock 24 hours a day. all everything.

MomToMany replied: Nope, never lock any of the doors. I don't even think we had any keys to our old house . We have like 10 sets for the new one, all up in the cupboard in a bowl.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: All locked, except maybe the sliding glass door in the back. The dog goes in and out too often...and besides, our backyard is fully gated and three levels. Plus my dog is fierce!

kimberley replied: i lock the door in the evening/night but it is usually open in the day. my side door is always open grrrrrrrr stupid ex never locks it, so i just keep the door between upstairs and down locked all the time.

~*Just the Three of Us*~ replied: i leave the front door locked (its in the foyer so y ou can't see it... makes me nervouse) but the back door stays locked, but i leave the door to the back porch open with the screen door locked.

but sebastian is only 9 months old.. if is anything like me.... we will need dead bolts in a few years.. i used to try and leave the house all the time when i was little.. lol
