Little girls name at the park

I agree with you guys though, just odd names that really do put a target on a girl no matter what age.

I have a grand daughter named Samantha and DH and I call her Sammy. Well all was well and good until our other grand daughter, who is 6, told us we're the only one's that call her Sammy....lol

Yes my full legal name is Jimmie Carol. Although only my closest friends call me by both names! Oh and course my Mom when she is mad at me.

No my parents didn’t want a boy they already had 2 boys and 2 girls when I was born. That is one of the first questions I always get. I hated my name when I was young with a purple passion; now that I am older I love it. My Mom always said she named me right, I am not a Susie or Cindy.

grandma replied: This just made me remember a cute story. I was at the nail salon last week, getting a pedicure. The lady next to me had a little girl with her, her daughter. The little girl was more or less sitting at my feet on one of the stools. So I ask her how old she was, she said 3, I told her I had a grand daughter that was 3. Then I ask her what her name was, she said Samantha. I told her my I had a grand daughter named Samantha too and her middle name was Rose. I ask her if she knew her middle name and her mom looked at her and the little girl said "French Fry" The mom started cracking up and said "No, that's your nickname, your middle name is Renee"
When she left I said bye Samantha French Fry.....she was really cute!
