2. She supports my activities even though she has zero interest (she comes and watches my demolition derby every year even though I know she finds it boring)

1. I love the way he hugs me and makes me feel comfy cozy in his arms.

2. I love watching him with the girls. He's so playful and good with them.

3. I love the fact that I can talk sports with him and he doesn't treat me like I'm stupid.

4. I love that he's smart and we can carry on a conversation about anything.

But most of all......

5. I love the way we can just goof off together and the way he makes me laugh till my sides ache.

Ok....Now I'm teary-eyed and I can't see the boxes I'm supposed to be packing.

1- How we are so alike as far as interests and sense of humor, but we're not TOO alike...we have many that are the same but lots that are different, too. I think we'd be boring if we were too much alike.

2- Our history together- we've been friends for almost 14 years, and we dated twice, once when we were like 12 and once when we were like 15. And before we got together, we were both in love with the other and neither one knew it. I love how we just couldnt move on from each other, like we were meant to be together.

3- The way he will roll over towards me at night, in the middle of sleeping, and kiss me on the cheek or lips and say "I love you so much" or something equally sweet. Or if he will ask me to come put my head on his chest or hold my hand as we fall asleep together.

4- How he will sometimes bring me nice little treats when he comes home- some drinks or candy I like or a soda and sometimes flowers, cards, etc. and how much he appreciates it when I do the same for him.

5- How sometimes he will call me during the day and tell me "I am missing you so much" or how I am the best thing that ever happened to him, or how he feels so lucky that we are together...or he will tell me I'm so beautiful or such a good mom, or something like that...

Wow, I cant believe I just get five.

I wish I could talk about how much fun he is to hang out with, how he is my absolute BEST FRIEND ever, how great of a dad he is with our kids & how he's even a better father to my boys than their own dad is...how he let's ME run the show at home as far as most things are concerned , how hard he works so I can be at home and how he works his butt off to give us so much and rarely complains about it even though I know his job is really stressful.

I love the way he kisses me.. not those everyday kisses but those once in a blue moon kisses that knock your socks off.

I love that he is so manly, I feel so protected and secure.

I love that he will play dress up or he will play trucks it's all the same to him.

I love when he does little things for me, like tonight he is home baking a ham b/c I am working late.

I love when he says my name.. He doesn't say Melba often..but when he does the way it sounds on his tongue makes me stop and notice.

(he never calls me Mel either.. always Melba)

1. The way he calls me "momma". I don't know why that gets me, maybe because that's what my dad called my mom and for some reason it gets me. How I don't know, but it does.

2. The way he kisses me, like Mel said - not the everyday kisses, but those ones that take you by surprise.

3. That he doesn't care how I look or how fat I am, he honestly and wholeheartedly loves me for me. He would rather see me in my 'bumming' wear than all dressed up.

4. That he cooks.

5. That he still likes to keep in touch with me several times a day while we are at work and he wants to eat lunch with me every day.

If this was a list called "list 100 things you don't like about your significant other" I could have done that one no problem.

3) That he respects his mother- she raised him well
4) He has an open heart- for us, friends, family, etc...
5) He has ambitions & a lifelong dream and has put those on hold so I can pursue schooling

1) How he cuddles me at night.. I feel so safe and warm!

2) How he calls me throughout the day at work, for no reason or to tell me something cute that Jaden did. (he works at night, I work during the day)

3) How absolutely wonderful he is with Jaden, they play all the time!

4) How good of a cook he is - he makes me any meal I want and it's always wonderful

5) Finally, and this is a new thing.. How he helps me with the housework - and doesn't complain about it!

1. The way he looks at me and I know in my heart that he has never looked at anyone else that same way.

2. The awesome Daddy that he is, it makes my heart smile to watch he and Blakely play together.

3. How smart he is, I always feel like a ding-a-ling and have lots of blond moments, but he keeps me in check

4. The awesome provider he is for our family!

5. And ESPECIALLY how much fun we have together!!!! We are both such big goobers and I can just be myself and act as silly as I want to and I can tell he still thinks I am the sexiest thing he's ever laid eyes on.


OOHH I LOVE THAT MAN!!!

Hillbilly Housewife replied: 1) He's got a sense of humor similar to mine, and we both crack up at the weirdest things, while other people are staring at us

2) He's great with the kids, and will usually take them out of my face for about an hour everyday while I get things done such as dinner, or whatever I want to do, to give me down time alone

3) If he has money to blow on something for himself, he'll usually get something for me too, even if it's just a chocolate bar.

4) He knows that "I'm the boss" and is ok with that.

5) He's my best friend

1. his sense of humor (even though at times he gets carried away with his sarcasm )
2. the way he pampers me and treats me like a princess, respects me and treats me like a wife should be treated........most of the time.
3. his butt and his back (his butt is small and tight and his back is defined)
4. he is a wonderful father to our child (soon to be children)
5. he tolerates my mood swings as best as he can

I'll throw in a #6 too and say that he has the most work ethic I have ever seen in anyone. That is something I respect about him.
