TANNER'S MOM replied: I am kinda ashamed NOW
Mel
My2Beauties replied: Why? Your property is beautiful! My house is just a rental house, I mean I'm not ashamed of it like I made it sound in my previous post but just not near as nice as the other houses posted! It's just an old house! I'll post some when we buy a house!
kit_kats_mom replied: ROFL Edie! I think she meant it like "my yard is such a jungle, you may find a lion or two in there"
tee hee
TANNER'S MOM replied: I was lookin for dandy lions etc!
TANNER'S MOM replied: Because mine is just a single story farm house!
Lollie replied: Wow..what beautiful homes!!!
Mel...hey! What you tslking about! Your home is very nice..I LOVE big yards!! Plenty of space to do tons of stuff and after all...no matter what house you have..its the family who live in it that make it a home!
GavinsMommy replied: Can't show you guys my house because I don't have one
Just an apartment...and I am too scared to go outside to take a picture. LOL...Atlanta is bad
texasp3 replied: Oh Mel.. the picture of the view from your porch makes me ache for a rocker and a tall glass of ice tea! *sigh*
Anyway... I just took these pics late last week... before we mowed the yard! LOL... I was taking pictures of the flowers anyway, not the grass.
(Oh... this is the first time I've tried putting photobucket tags in a posting... I hope it works....)

CCTandME replied: I live in a yucky house (temporarily). Actually I am currently looking for a home to BUY. OH, I hope! I hope! I hope! Waiting for mortgage broker to call now. C'mon phone, RING!!!
oyeah, I love all of your homes. Tannersmom, I'd be PROUD to have your home and land. Very nice
mammag replied: Here's the front of the house...
mammag replied: And the only one I have of the back....
~KARA~ replied: Very nice houses!! I wont post mine cause it would fit in some of your houses!!
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: well. THis is it at this time last year

THis is the front right after we moved in

I apparently don't have the pics on this computer, but the back is all dirt with a swingset on the side Hopefully todays snow will melt and dry up so we will be able to seed this weekend like we has plannING.
Oh yeah the pic of the house doesn't show that are neighbors are so close we can see in all their windows and hold a conversation from our own yards w/o raising our voices
3xsthefun replied: Everyone has nice houses! This is not our house it is my husband's parents house we our just living here temporary, until they get it sold or we get our own place to live. I guess whatever happens first. They don't live here with us they live in another house.
Boys r us replied: here is one pic..post more when I finish going thru my pics on the computer..

Mel
Boys r us replied: Mel, I agree..that pic from the porch looks VERY inviting!!
Edie, you're house is so adorable and the mailbox with ivy on it.. Too cute!
My2Beauties replied: Whoo wee get out the hose, I'm gettin nekkid!
LOL LOL! Brian's family lives in Leitchfield, Ky and they have tons of property and we love to go out there and go 4-wheelin' and what not! THe more I think about it sometimes the more I want to move! Aimee posted threads about city life versus country life and I was city to the death, I'm starting to change my mind! My neighborhood is getting so bad, I just wouldn't want that long drive to work in the morning and home I want some land to run around on. ANd in the country things are so much cheaper!
texasp3 replied: I found a picture of the actual front of the house... I knew I had taken one. We've lived in LOTS of apartments (from hideous to allegedly "luxury") before we bought this place. It took us till we were almost 40 to own our own home... it has ZERO land and I'd sure like some of that on our next place. If we can ever AFFORD a next place.
( Mel - I'm coming over, put the beer on ice!)
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Marie, Maddie just said "Ummm...That's Gabriel's house!"
texasp3 replied: LOL! She's a smart little girl. I'll be sure to tell Gabriel it's his house when the next mortage payment is due. Maybe he's been hiding dollar bills in his diapers.
redchief replied: Beautiful homes!!!
Here's the front of the house... Oh... and the yard. LOL
redchief replied: Out the front door... a bay view.
Might have to cut that tree back this summer.
GavinsMommy replied: Where do you guys live again?
redchief replied: Avalon, NJ
It's a barrier island in the southern part of the state.
moped replied: I don't think i am showing my house after seeing all these gorgeous homes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kidding, I will tonight
redchief replied: Hah! You oughta see the inside of our dump. LOL
come to think of it... you all will never see that. I'll steal a pic out of Better Homes and Gardens.
coasterqueen replied: Okay I found some of my back yard and the very front yard of our house.
This first one I couldn't resist. It's from winter 2003 (I think) with all the deer in our yard. They love to come and visit us. Beyond the trees out there is the rest of our property that goes down to the river (all timber area)

And the play area that took the place of where the deer met, now they just meet closer to the house each winter.

And I had one of the back of the house, but I can't get it uploaded.
mummy2girls replied: Ilive in an apartment so i cant post of my house LOL
ediep replied: oh, I am soooo embarrassed> DUH!!!! I figured....Africa...survivor....Lions!

iluvmysweetiepies replied: Grr it's not working. I'll post a pic tomorrow.
Mommy2BAK replied: Jen, your house is beautiful!! I love it!
GavinsMommy replied: That's a nice house...any more pix of your kids rooms?
GavinsMommy replied: WOW! how do you manage to keep all the kid's toys and everything out of those roosm? those are the most traveled rooms in a home. time i cleaned it up there would be toys there again, lmao!
GavinsMommy replied: dasfa
amymom replied: All your homes are so nice. Most are very modern. I live in a house built before 1860, we have not been able to pinpoint a date. Recently the Library made postcards of historic homes in town, so that is what I am going to try and post. Ok I have never posted a picture before so here goes.

well, this is not working so I amgoing to go learn how to post a picture and I will be back. Thanks. But if you want to see my house you could go to this link for now.

JAYMESMOM replied: Your houses are all so beautiful. I am not posting mine since it would fit in your garages. LOL. But it is home!!
Mommy2BAK replied: What state do you live in? Your house is nice, but how do you keep it clean?
0-10andbackagain replied: Its a pic of our house 1 year ago. It looks the same much more cluttered. Its when my mom came and went on a cleaning spree. We live in WA
A&A'smommy replied: OH I'm so jealous!!!
J/k I live in an apartment (an UGLY one) so I'm not posting pictures but we do have a nice backyard the kids LOVE to play in
iluvmysweetiepies replied: Here is my house. Not sure why it's so small Sorry.
iluvmysweetiepies replied: Wow that's clean! I clean and clean but it never stays that way for long when the kids are around. You have a huge house! Where in WA are you?
kit_kats_mom replied: I love homes like that. I rented one once and it was beautiful but I don't want to think of the maintenance costs of owning it. I was invited to live in one for free when I was in college. A family friend who was elderly had a home that had been in the family for decades, it was on the historic registry, but she lived at the beach and the house was standing empty & it was downtown so she wanted an occupant in it. I was ready to jump at the opportunity until she admitted that since there is no heat or a/c, the water in the toilets freezes in the winter and in the summer, the candles all melt.
One of my best friends just bought an 1800's farmhouse in GA. They are renovating it now (heat and a/c etc). I can't wait to visit them!
gr33n3y3z replied: Everyones house is so nice
Anne I love your house It is so beautiful
My2Beauties replied: OK now I am so jealous
My house only has 5 rooms, 2 bedrooms, a livingroom, bath, and kitchen, they are all directly behind each other since it's a shotgun house, the floors are unlevel, the outside is totally hideous - paint is chipping everywhere and it's in dire need of a paint job - but I rent so not my problem I can't wait to buy a house!
Emeraldsmom replied: Wow, you all have such beautiful homes. We just own a mobile home. We don't even have a yard. but living here in northern California, thats all we can afford. But at least my mom lives like a block away and she has a big yard for Emerald to play in. Also there is a nice park right across the street.
amymom replied: Thank you for all the nice things people have said about our home. My mother-in-law bought it when my husband was 3 weeks old (57 yrs ago). Over the years she lived here, my mother-in-law restored lots of the inside and I have only wallpaper work to do. I am struggling with just the day-to-day upkeep. Last year when we moved here, I went from a 3 bedroom to this 6 bedroom home. I think I tripled the space to clean.
Well, yeah maintenance costs are out of this world. but I think it is worth it.
