Let's do the opposite...
MommyToAshley wrote: What makes you feel young?
Crystalina replied: Knowing that I'm just over 10 weeks from having a new baby!
Being around people with older kids and realizing I'm lucky mine are as young as they are. Most people I went to school with have kids in their teens.
stella6979 replied: Playing softball, seeing things for the first time through my Daughter's eyes, playing with play-doh, coloring, silly dancing with Avery.
PrairieMom replied: huh... ask me again after the kids are in bed and my PTA meeting is over.
luvmykids replied: Riding horses, doing anything else outside reminds me I'm old and out of shape Splashing in water with the kids, or taking them to see or do something new and fun, their innocent excitement is so contagious
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Being around my children make me feel old. Sorry, just being honest. I have fun with them, but I'm still the parent.
When I'm alone with my husband I feel like a teenager. When I do fun, spontaneous things {like this past weekend I had a blast on one of those huge bouncy slides.}
For the most part I don't feel old at all. I don't feel 31. Whatever that's supposed to feel like. Until last year you couldn't have convinced me that I wasn't still 18. It seems like yesterday.
gr33n3y3z replied: Being 45 and keeping up with my kids ages 15-24 years old LOL I can still do things that I did in my 20's so thats what makes me feel young also. Edited to add this
But we had all of our kids young so WE still have all the kids friends parents beat as for age goes were much younger LOL
Calimama replied: My age.
People asking me if I'm Miabella's older sister.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Being more in shape than I was in my 20's! Dancing, finding shells on the beach, and running through the sprinklers with my kids.
mammag replied: When I'm around Kristen's friends and they say how young I look.
When young guys flirt with me.....only happens if there aren't any kids with me for some odd reason.
When I see some women my age and they look older than me.....at least in MY mind.
Brias3 replied: I had some young moments this weekend. Aliyah and Mason went to the store with Bruce to get bbq stuff and Ryan and I pulled out the slip n' slide meanwhile. We had an absolute BLAST running around the yard with the sprinkler and getting soaked from head to toe (although he did nicely point out "Mom, I'm not trying to be sassy but I think you might be over the 100lb weight limit for the slip n' slide, since I am already 90 lbs." )
Besides that, coloring, playing dress-up, running around the house with the kids during hide n' seek, staying up until 2 am with Bruce playing the Wii and Rock Band - any of that brings out my young side!!
punkeemunkee'smom replied: See my thread about what I got today!
Those 2 lines made me feel pretty young! Of course getting those 2 pink lines was not exactly an old fart activity either
Laughing with Taylor makes me feel young. Making up funny names, jokes, or just letting it all go and dancin around the livingroom with her! Holding hands with Bill still makes me feel 17. Coloring makes me feel like a kid again too!
Honestly I don't feel old very often-even when I feel old-KWIM?
TANNER'S MOM replied: Young.. well this is really on my mind..since I am turning 35 this month! I am trying to NOT get depressed.
When I dance I feel young..Especially when I am dancing w/ Brittany and she is teaching me the newest moves! When her teenage girlfriends are around and she actually asks me to dance w/ them. And then says I got it from my Mama..lol
Clothes..when I can find something young and hip that looks good on me.
When I ride horses, and I can run and pass the young girls. Experience does matter..lol
When I am flirted with or some one asks to buy me a drink.
When I am playing w/ the kids.. wrestling or being silly.
Riding 4-Wheelers. (Not sinking them..that makes me feel old)
When I have make up on..lol
