This time, I was showing by 10-11 weeks, although I started showing a lot earlier, I am still not huge! I gained about 22 pounds so far

Here's a way you can tell that many people don't know about--if you're already showing by your first trimester, it usually means you're having a girl because a girl is carried much lower and your belly just shows more down there. if you're having a boy, you often won't show at all until your second trimester.
Obviously you weren't showing with Hanna and obviously she IS a girl but it's rare for you to still be flat at the end of your first trimester with a girl, you must have very strong stomach muscles!
Btw, when i said that looks like a girl belly, i didn't mean it in the sense that you are showing therefore it must be a girl but rather that a girl belly is usually much lower, and rounded out and a boy belly is often right under the chest or much higher up and it's more pointy...it sticks out.

I showed super early with Ethan....almost immediately. and I carried both of my babies low. Ethan was just more out front (basketball), Maddie was wide.

I carried very different with the boys also, and showed a lot sooner with Anthony. I was able to pretty much hide my pregnancy with Robbie till I was almost 7 months.

My2Beauties replied: Awww you guys are the greatest. I'm getting to that awkward stage where maternity clothes don't really fit and neither does anything else I have so it's nice to hear the sweet remarks from you guys! With Hanna I was carrying pretty high at first actually, right under my bb's but the last month or two she dropped way way way down (the kid lay on my bladder for weeks ). She was at point 0 or whatever you call it in the birth canal for like 3 weeks before I had her Anyways.....I'm going to start taking a pic every month at the same time, each time I hit another month milestone. I want to look at the changes, I didn't do that with Hanna, I got maybe one belly pic early on (at 5 months when I started showing) and then one at my baby shower and then maybe one towards the end, I don't even remember. I want more pics of this one this time around, I regret not having more of my belly with Hanna.

Aimee I think I might get wider with this one. I was so out front with Hanna and if you'll notice on that side pic that little skin hanging a little bit...I think I'm gonna stretch more wide than far out..who knows though I gained 35 pounds total with Hanna, I hope I don't gain anymore than that with this one

as to your showing right away with Ethan, obviously those things happen but what i meant to say was that if you're not showing into your second semester, it is most likely a boy as a girl will show right away, most of the time anyway.
obviously it's not a scientific thing but i see so many preggo women come in for maternity pics and then they come back with a newborn baby for newborn pics so i've seen so many of these bellies that i've discovered a pattern.
obviously, it's not meant to be scientific or 100% but most of the time, it's frighteningly accurate.
ETA--you look awesome, LeaAnn, keep taking pics as you go, it's fun to see a woman go through the stages!
