Lauren is growing up too fast

She gave her first belly laugh yesterday & just now, she rolled over from tummy to back, each direction.

So bittersweet wub.gif

Josie83 replied: Aw Cary grouphug.gif You never know what might be in store for you yet wub.gif She's stillonly so msall! I know what you mean though, time does just go SO quickly! Are finding that it goes faster or slower with your second, or have you not really noticed a difference? Just curious (trying to gear myself up for the future) grouphug.gif xx

kit_kats_mom replied:
Nope, after that heart problem I had after labor with her, I'm not risking it again...just too old. Besides, I never saw myself as a mom, especially of two, but now I can't see it any other way. DH is setting an appointment to get snipped soon.

I've found it goes more quickly the second time around. I really wanted to savor her infancy since I knew she would be our last but with the chaos that a toddler brings to a home (not bad...just chaotic), I sometimes feel like I am just doing good to make it though a day intact. KWIM? Plus with all of the hospitalizations during the first month, I feel like I kind of missed that special time with her.

That's weird, I think you seem like such a natural mum! You are an awesome mum to Katherine and Lauren wub.gif Makes sense why you're not trying again as well . . . that's so sad that you're feeling like you missed out with her when she was first born sad.gif I can imagine its easy to sort of leave your second baby by the wayside while you have a toddler to bring up as well (not in a bad way obviously, do you know what I mean?). One of my many arguments for waiting a lot longer number before baby O'Connor number two wink.gif laugh.gif xx

iluvmysweetiepies replied: LOL we waited 7 years between our first and second. It was really nice to have the big age difference, but Ariana and Sofia are only 2 years apart and very close.

I know what you mean about time flying. It seems like yesterday these two were in the NICU with feeding tubes sad.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Oh wow!! bawling.gif Didn't I warn you that the second one grows up so much faster? wink.gif sad.gif I can't believe she is already rolling over!!!

5littleladies replied: Oh they do grow up so fast! bawling.gif I am really hoping that with this baby I will get time to just treasure how small he/she is but I'm afraid with 3 crazies in the house already I won't get to enjoy it as much as I want to. sad.gif

I can't believe she is rolling over already! Didn't you just have her? happy.gif

kimberley replied: wub.gif what a big girl!!! i think that every day with the kids. i look at Jacob and wonder how the heck he will soon be 9yrs old?! wacko.gif it sure doesn't feel that long. unsure.gif

A&A'smommy replied: AWWWW Cary (((((HUGS))))) I hate how quickly they grow it makes me cry too!!

WTG Lauren!!! wub.gif

mammag replied: Aww Cary! I know what you mean. Keegan is my last also and each phase makes me sad because I know it's the last first for me. bawling.gif

I'm really trying to cherish each moment but it is going too fast.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: bawling.gif I know what you mean Cary, I look at my 3 children and wonder where the time went. They are so precious and the time goes by too quickly.

coasterqueen replied: Awww wub.gif bawling.gif

I don't even want to think about how fast they grow up. bawling.gif bawling.gif
