My3LilMonkeys replied: I try for a load a day. If I don't keep caught up it snowballs and I feel like I'm buried in laundry.

lesliesmom replied: I try to do a load a day, that way my weekend is not spent doing laundry. I actually succeed with getting it in the washer/dryer but folding it and getting it put away is another story. I always forget or figure I'll add the next load to the basket so the clean clothes begin to pile up just as much as the dirty ones.

jem0622 replied: We do 1-2 loads per day. For a long time, we just used pop up hampers and sorted by tops and bottoms. We slowly moved to a 'dressing room' that is next to our laundry room. I have several dressers in it, and it makes it much easier to swap loads and put things away.

Calimama replied: I do it whenever the hamper gets full. So it's one load not 25 million.

I always find something else that is more important and needs to be done first. Sometimes I keep up on it, but I usually end up having a laundry marathon day.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: I used to do laundry either everyday or every second day when I lived at the house. In the winter time there was always a load after supper to wash all the snowsuits, hats and mitts.

Now that I'm on my own I do laundry once a week, but finding that I don't have enough to make 2 full loads. Hmmm maybe I need to buy more clothes!

We usually clean, pick-up the house every day -- stuff like do dishes, vacuum, sweep, etc. I try to dust every day too. However, we do "deep" cleaning about once a week, so I guess you are right about that. It's just the laundry that I seem to have issues with... I hate laundry more than anything else.

Jamison'smama replied: I have a marathon day--I hate putting it away so I like to do it all at once and put it all away at once. I LOVE to fold clothes but then they sit in baskets for way too long before I take the trek upstairs to put it away.

Boo&BugsMom replied: I do it one day a week, sometimes two depending on how much. I don't do it every day. I'd rather take one whole day a week to do it.
