Last NIGHT WAS CRAZY and my POOR CAT
jen wrote: OK last night was CRAZY! we have had a problem with these teenage kids on 4 wheelers and dirt bikes going through our yard (we have vacant lots on both sides of us) and we ended up having to call the Sheriff's Dept and have them warned AGAIN. I only called them after this punk flipped me off going through my FRONT yard! I made it clear to their parents that I am more than willing to press vandalism charges on every single on of them and they can pay to have my yard RE-SOD. So anyway we were threatened by one set of parents and the police are worried they are going to do something to vandalize OUR TRUCKs or HOUSE............OMG!!!!......These are the parents they are worried about. OH well we live in Texas and there is an abundance of white trash in Texas EVEN in nice Subdivisions. So my poor DH and I were up all night worrying. We have to set our alarm and get the rest of the windows wired etc and hurry up on finishing the fencing and it is just a hassle. All b/c of some parents who support their bratty kid that in their mind can do NO WRONG!
So about my poor kitty, Booty. We notice at 11 or so lastnight that he is hissing and screaming when he goes in to the litterbox. He also screams when we touch him or pick him up. My DH is practically a vet! LOL so he said he either had a stone or he was constipated because the litterbox wasn't "used". The problem is that this cat has a fettish with eating my hair scrunchies and I think he ate a few of them because I can't find them and he gets in my purse and takes them, he usually buries them in his food bowl but they are gone! these are the rubberbands that are kind of braided, not the small ones!! he has eaten 2 feet of clothesline before........I DON'T KNOW WHY! and then he threw it up after we adopted him and he still throws up little pieces of that sometimes! I just hope they find out what is wrong with him today, he is a really sweet boy and I hated to leave him at the vet this morning I just hope he will be ok.
pinka_star replied: Oh man, how rude of those kids and the kids parents. You shouldn't have to worry about someone vandalizing your property. Some people!!!
I'm sorry to hear about your Kitty. I hope he's ok. That's weird he eats your scruntchies, heh.
5littleladies replied: I hate it when parents think their kids are perfect regardless. It's so frusterating! I'm sorry you had to deal with that.
And your poor kitty! My cat eats plastic and ribbons and things like that. We can't put ribbons on our christmas gifts because he will eat them and then-Yippie, we get a colorful surprise in the litter box. I've heard they eat things like that when they can't eat grass-something about it helping their digestive systems. In the summer we will bring him handfulls of grass and he gobbles it right up. Cats are so strange. I hope they figure out what the problem is with your kitty.
chloe&tysmommy replied: I feel so bad for you having to put up with those BAD kids and their parents...I just don't get people sometimes! I hope they leave you guys alone very soon
awe your poor kitty! I hope he'll be okay ~*~*get well soon Booty~*~*
We had a cat that would eat bottle nipples, everytime my nephew would come over my cat would be going crazy searching for his bottle so she could chew the nipple off! Weird cat, she had to have surgery b/c there was a ball of rubber in her intestines...yuck! Hopefully your kitty will be okay and can come home soon
kimberley replied: poor kitty. i hope you guys figure it out soon. that is just awful about your neighbors. how parents support their kid's bad behaviour is beyond me. guess you know where they learned it from. hope nothing happens.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: I'm sorry you have to deal with all of that. I know what it is like to have teenagers do what ever they want! A few houses down from us there were a bunch of teenagers and they would go and sit out on there roof in front of there house. While sitting there they had a super soaker and they would spray cars as the drove down the street. They were such a menace, but the police couldn't do anything because they were on there own property! They moved a few months ago and it has been so quite ever since!
I hope your cat is going to be okay. Poor little thing, I hate when my animals are sick!
jen replied: Thanks Everyone for your support and Best wishes to little Booty! I just picked him up. We took him in to our little orphanage here in July because he was found roaming the streets with no claws for defense and half starved. We found out today he has severe arthritus and will have to have injections he is not in pain right now because he had some steroid injections and he is on a pain killer. When the medicine comes in to the clinic they are going to call us and our vet (who is WONDERFUL) said that it will really help him get back to his old self. He will get the shots on a regular basis depending on how well it helps him. Funny we thought he was a couple years old and he is an old man!~
As for the 4 wheelers and dirt bikes, they are out there again and one punk just drove right through my backyard! SO LET THE DRAMA BEGIN!!! I have to go and call the sheriff I met yesterday
Thanks Again!!!
MilMunchMOM replied: oh no!!!! I am soo sorry about those rotten kids and PARENTS!!
if i told you about some of the things my cats have eaten you would die. I will share this one with you all.... my son got this spider man figure that came with this plastic, rubbery, sticky web you can throw at something and it will stay. Well it was rather large too, but Barney ate it just the same. He jupmed onto the bed and i noticed this red thing sticking out of his butt. eeeeeewwwww!!! I grabbed a paper towel and pulled and it snapped... YES SNAPPED.. out at me!!!! OMG!!!! Me and my DH screamed and then laughed hysterically for hours!!! ROFL
MommyToAshley replied: I am sorry you are having such a rough time with the kids and their parents. Ugghh.. you really shouldn't have to deal with that. I hope the Sheriff is able to help you resolve things.
And... poor kitty. I hope the meds work and he is feelign like his old self soon!
MilMunchMOM replied: Sorry to hear about the kitty's arthritis They learn to like the shots though...mine had diabetes and needed 2 a day. After a while he came looking for them. It was wierd.
A&A'smommy replied: I cannot believe those parents!! If that was my kid he would NEVER ride his fourwheeler again! POOR KITTY!!!! Give him big (gentle) hugs for me! I hope those kids decide to move on! ((((BIG HUGS))))
CantWait replied: I'm so about the kids and even more so about the parents. It's horrible when the parents act like children themselves.
Your kitty sounds like my dog, he'll eat anything he can get too. He even ate a baby clothe before and then it up and reate it....
I hope nothing happens to your property
aspenblue1 replied: Poor kitty I hope he feels better soon.
I can not believe parents would let their children do that or that they would threaten to do that.
amynicole21 replied: OMG, those kids need more than a warning - and those parents need to be fined or something if they can't control themselves or their children
I'm so sorry to hear about your poor kitty I hope he's feeling better soon, and that the shots do the trick
coasterqueen replied: I hate it when parents are like that
Sorry to hear about your kitty and hope he gets feeling better soon!
