Labor Day Weekend - Plans

My Nana and Papa have always had a big family cook out with all my aunts uncles and cousins. This year is the first year in a very long time that they will not be having it because my Papa hasn't been feeling well.

No big plans for us, just taking it easy and spending quality family time together. DH has been working soo many 12 hours shifts lately, it's been hectic.

JP&KJMOM replied: No really big plans here. Just family get togethers all weekend. Of course where we are from it is also opening weekend of dove season so my guys will be hunting.

Momof3inMe replied: We don't really have any plans this weekend. I am sure we will come up with something fun to do. My kids start school on Tuesday so I know the end of the weekend will be getting ready for school. Where did the summer go?

3xsthefun replied: We was going go camping with my parents, but not sure now. They are calling for rain all weekend. So I guess we will see how things go.

booey2 replied: Well I am off tommorow and taking the boys for haircuts, McDonalds and to Chuck E Cheese (we promised them CEC all summer and never took em). Then Saturday I think we are just going to chill at home and Sunday it is down to Cambridge to visit, havent' seen my family since the cottage week at the beginning of August. Other than that, it will be a quiet weekend here.

mom2my2cuties replied: hmmm I am not sure what we are going to be doing over the weekend - Probably not much :-) Tomorrow is my birthday so and so I think we may do that sort of stuff on Saturday, I know Andrew has to work on his Andy's Goodies stuff since he has some orders to prepare.

Sun- we have a wedding to attend that afternoon.
Mon- FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES vs Miami Hurricanes season opening game that night!!!!!!!! Cannot wait for that. We are going to a friends house to watch that game. I am not terribly fond of the friends , but who cares? The curse of FSU v Miami is over, so as long as I can watch it.... it is all that matters.

Jeffs Wife replied: we haven't made any plans yet. We'll probably just hang out at home, it's suposed to rain all weekend here.
I will be getting the kids things all ready for them to start school on Tuesday

Nothing spectacular here, probably take the kids for one last swim and try to play a little golf.

BAC'sMom replied: No plans maybe a bar b-q with family on Sunday.

3_call_me_mama replied: We're going camoing. We bought a camper at the fair and are excited to try it out. We pick the camper up tomorrow afternoon and then leave to go camping until mondya afternoon. So we'll be MIA. UIt's supposed ot rain here sat afternoon adn sunday but oh well we have lots to do inside the camper. Oh and we start school tuessday so we're getting ready for that too

amynicole21 replied: Cary and I are meeting up to spend the weekend together with our families at a Disney resort! Lots of fun and merriment will be had by all.

My3LilMonkeys replied: Tommorrow night MIL, SIL and I are going to NY to a county fair to see Blackhawk & Little Texas in concert. Monday we will go to my nephew's birthday party.
