K's eye appt

kit_kats_mom wrote: We went in today to have her eyes checked for retinoblastnoma. She was showing white spots in her eyes when we took pictures. Anyway, after the drama of putting the dilating drops in her eyes, she was fine for the actual exam. Results: no abnormal growths but she does have a slight cross so he wants to see her back in 4 mos

C&K*s Mommie replied: I suppose it is better to have a slight crossing than something that by the sounds of it , seemed more serious. hug.gif

coasterqueen replied: Well I'm glad it's nothing too serious. hug.gif

3_call_me_mama replied: WHEW! that's arelief.. too bad about hte slight cross btu that is FAR more managable!! Glad it went well

fashionmumofboys replied: Thank goodness it's nothing major or serious.

The slight cross maybe be corrected by either patching her good eye or with surgery if need be.

amynicole21 replied: I'm glad you got it checked out and that it was nothing serious. thumb.gif

DansMom replied: Oh, what a relief! thumb.gif

kit_kats_mom replied: Thanks. I feel better after having it looked at. Even though I kept telling myself it's probably nothing, I literally felt a weight lift off of my shoulders when he said there was nothing there.

The slight cross is so slight that DH and I have never noticed it. I'm hoping it just fixes itself. rolleyes.gif

MomToJade&Jordan replied: I'm glad that it was nothing serious. And as for the slight cross I have seen tons of pics of K since birth and I haven't noticed it.

amymom replied: Thank God. I was worried since you mentioned it. hug.gif

MamaJAM replied: Glad to hear there is nothing serious.

The cross thing isn't a worry -- therapy can do wonders now-a-days! Especially at such a young age!

jcc64 replied: I knew it was nothing- but glad someone who actually knows something told you so. I wouldn't worry about the crossed thing- Noah's were like that when he was little and they also told me they thought he'd be near sighted, and he has absolutely perfect vision now.
