Celestrina replied: We had one briefly, but it couldn't compete with a local donut shop. Believe it or not, this place is waaay better than KK.

PrairieMom replied: We used to, It was here about 3 years then closed down. I guess there was some big corporate thing a few years back and they closed something like 1/3 of their stores. I was so sad. I miss them.

Yeap I miss them to. But ofcourse I gained 5 pounds from them just over the weekend.

I grew up in California though...there is a donut on every corner. I miss the donuts back home.

DillsMommy replied: Here, they sell Krispie Kreme doughnuts at Wal-mart, Kroger, gas stations etc. I don't think I've ever seen a real KK shop.

My3LilMonkeys replied: They sell them at gas stations around here, but no actual Krispy Kreme shop. A lot of schools sell them for fundraisers too. I don't think they're that great, but I've never had one that was still warm so maybe that makes the difference.

grapfruit replied: I personally HATE donuts, so obviously don't care for KK.

But they're in almost every Speedway gas station.

grapfruit replied: You know what donuts I DO like. Tim Horton's "cake" donuts. Yum. Those are good. The guy at "my local Tim Hortons" said that the "other" donuts have yeast to make them puffy. Those are the kind I don't like (like KK). He was shocked that I didn't like the puffy ones. Apparently everyone else in the world does.

BabyOwen427 replied: We have a KK here in OKC. You can watch the doughnut being made it's interesting. Then you can eat a freshly made-before-your-eyes doughnut. Yum! I can't go often or I'll balloon up Anyways, Panera Bread is closer so I get thier paistries more often, they have a larger variety.

Yes and when they are hot are when they are the best. The ones in the stores like gas stations and things are NOT fresh like I am talking.

Oh I totally love cake donuts- I actually don't care for the raised ones.

I'm not a huge KK fan at all, so it's not a big deal that the closest one is about 30 minutes away. In fact, that's the only one I've really ever seen around here, but they do sell them at our gas station and convenience marts.

I like both raised and cake doughnuts, but I think that a good old cake doughnut with chocolate icing is the best. As long as it's super fresh anyways... they're not very good later in the day I don't think.

Jamison'smama replied: Yummy! I love KK, I don't like any other raised donut so if I go anywhere else, I get cake donuts but KKs are wonderful. If they aren't hot, 10 seconds in the microwave does the trick---just like chocolate chip cookies-- both are best when warm.

A&A'smommy replied: we have one in the next big town (which is tuscaloosa) an hour away, but they are sold at walmart, and gas stations here. I don't buy them from anywhere other than kk though. That is actually where dh and I went on our first date after applebees so kk has a special place in my heart

MoonMama replied: We did in town for a few years but it has been shut down for over a year now, and we do in Denver. I don't like them, WAAAAY to sweet and rich for me. DH loves them though.

mommymommy replied: Yes, we have one kind of near!! There is nothing that beats fresh Krispy Kremes!!
..and they also sell them at Jewel..not fresh, but if you microwave them for 30 seconds, then they are ok!!

Kaitlin'smom replied: yep there is one close to my sitters but I dont really care for them. We have a different donut shop where I grew up that I LOVE Bill Dounuts they are soooo good. great now I want a donut.
