Kiera Bryn arrives... - The best baby in the WHOLE world!

Kiera Bryn arrived last Monday after 10 minutes of pushing (yes, you heard me correctly!) and has consistently slept 3 to 4 hours at a time.

(Keep in mind that Bailey was about 4 months old before she slept 4 hours straight.)

Mommy had some epidural problems (needed three tries to get it in, needed two blood patches to correct a spinal fluid leak-FUN!) I won't give details because I still would not have turned down the epidural because the contractions were unreal and I don't want to scare the mommies-to-be.

BUT I'm much better and Kiera is a dream. I didn't get to enjoy Bailey because I was so tired but with Kiera I've actually been able to just stare at her and fall completely in love with her.

She was 8 lbs. 4 oz. and looks absolutely nothing like Bailey. Crazy.

She is beautiful! I just love the picture on her website under "back at home" where she is sleeping on her side. What a doll!

I am glad to hear that you are doing better and that she is such a dream baby! What does Bailey think of her?

Julie (jem0622) replied: Congrats! About the lap thing....I would sit on the couch...stretch out my right leg (I'd sit in the left corner side) and let Nathan sit on my leg. He saw it as my lap and he was happy. I did that a lot and especially when nursing.

She is younger so I don't think it will be as bad as having an almost 3 yr old or 4/5 yr old adjust to not being 'number 1'.
