Kids say the funniest things... - LOL

DH, Ashley, and I went for a walk. We went past a little boy (probably about 5 or 6 years old) and he said "hello" and chatted with us for a bit about how his Mom was inside making chicken. Then, he asked us, "Are you walking so you can get skinny?" LOL Ok, yes I haven't lost all the baby fat yet, but it is sad when a 6 year old notices!
~CrazieMama~ replied: lol, that is funny. Tyler said something to me one day, he told me that i can not wear pants that are too tight because my fat will hang over...lol I could have died.
MommyToAshley replied: LOL Aweee, that's funny and I can relate. LOL
paradisemommy replied: that is so cute... gotta love the innocence of children!!!
MomToJade&Jordan replied: LOL!!!!!! It kind of reminds me of that Kudus comercial. Kids can say the funniest things. You gotta love that.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Oh that is too funny! Kids are just too honest! It reminds me of when Children's Aid was first involved with my family. I was very nervous and I didn't want to let my children know that they were coming over. I wanted their reaction to be an honest reaction to the worker they were talking too. We talked together and then the worker asked to speak to them alone. So I went into the living room and she asked them some questions. I knew the question of abuse was going to come up, but I wasn't worried I've never abused my children! Anyway the worker asked my DD and DS if anyone got hurt. My DD said "Well once when I was riding my bike I rode into a fence!" I couldn't help but laugh! They are just so honest!
MomToMany replied: Oh my! That's too funny you guys! Luckily my kids haven't said anything about myself YET! I think I would pee my pants if they did!
MommyToAshley replied: LOL! That's too funny!
booey2 replied: I can totally relate to this topic. My nephew once asked me point blank why I was FAT, he was about 6 at the time so I sat him down and explained to him about different body types and about hypothyroidism.
And now my 5 year old came up to me the other day and told me that I was on a weight loss challenge. He knows all about ww and that I go to meetings every week, so I asked him where he heard about "weight loss challenge" and he matter of factly says, " Dr. Phil". I just about died laughing. It seems that his babysitter watches Dr. Phil during the day and it is the only hour of tv that she takes for herself, the rest of the time it is on for the kids.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: ROFL!! those stories are TOOO funny! Makes me glad Zach doesn't talk yet....
momma2jenna replied: too funny!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: That reminds me...When we were at my parents for Halloween, Maddie was sitting there with my mom and I while we were talking. Mom looked at Maddie and asked her if there was a baby in mommy's tummy and Maddie said "Yes, it is Emma Rebekah". Then Maddie said "Nana, do you have a baby in your tummy like mommy?" My mom said "No, nana just has a big tummy." Maddie said "Yeah, it's big like mommies, but it needs to get little." ROFL!!! It was so funny! I think it encouraged mom to get back on Weight Watchers. She quit for her cancer treatments.
