Kids Digital Cameras - Any ideas

lovemy2 replied: We bought a Disney one - it was cheaper than the Fisher Price one and will be a longer lasting one IMO - smaller too but probably not quite as durable for a kid but Olivia was 5 when we got it for her KWIM? Got it at Toys R Us..

skinkybaby replied: Gracie loves her. It has a view screen and it's VERY sturdy. She's thrown it all over the place and it's held up well! The picture quality isn't the best, but she doesn't mind.

Brias3 replied: Ryan wanted a digital for his birthday last year, so at the time he was turning 8. We chose the Nikon Coolpix S7c. It's a pretty good camera and sturdy as well but a bit pricey for a kid's camera (we paid about $150 for it)

My niece has KB Gear's JamCam, which retails for about $89 and is supposedly an awesome kid digital. It stores about 50 pictures at once, but includes a Microsoft program (called Picture This or It or something) that is supposedly a cool way to transfer the images to computer for printing with special effects, etc. The only bad part is that I'm NOT positive it has a view screen. I'd have to ask.

I hesitate to buy them better ones cuz they cant take care of anything! lol my son has lost his gameboy more times than i can count and my daughter is always misplacing her MP3. So im gonna hold off but it sounds like they have some nice ones now
