Kaitlin needs some cheering up. - Oral surgery today
redchief wrote: Kaitlin had oral surgery today and could use some stuff to cheer her. Had an impacted tooth removed from the front of her mouth... Can't go much more into it now because she needs her daddy!!! Mommy's at work for another hour or so, so daddy's all she's got!!! I fear I'm only barely acceptable!
Thanks!
Sunflower04 replied: The poor girl. I had two back impacted teeth removed and all I can say is I rather go thru child birth before that again. Use lots of ice.
DansMom replied: Ouch! Whenever I've had major dental work, I am depressed for several days. After a major surgical procedure, I think the body reacts as if it's been beaten up---at least mine does. I remember having four molars removed for braces. I cried and just wanted to sleep. Every day makes a big difference, and the mouth heals especially quickly. Do lots of comfort TV or rent some good movies, and lay around in jammies, curled up with a pet if you have one. That's my advice. I hope she's feeling better soon.
coasterqueen replied: Aww poor girl! and I hope it goes ok and she's on the mend soon!!!
Boys r us replied: YOWZERS!!!! poor little thing!! I hope she recovers quickly..and to be honest, when I was young, I would have rather had my daddy there than anyone! Something about a daddy's love and attention that just makes everything better!!
kimberley replied: poor girl i hope she is better soon!

paradisemommy replied: i can totally relate..they started construction on my teeth when i was 8 yrs. old. they had to pull a bunch of teeth then dig down in my gums and pull my molars out and such - i think that's why now i am totally afraid of doctors..i think i associate doctors with pain..
tell her she'll be happy in about 5 years when all the guys are falling over their feet for her and her killer smile!!
oh and i forgot lots of ice cream, scrambled eggs, soup and jello!!
