Just spent 2 hours in the backyard - doing yardwork

I moved some stone tiles so that I could put our big garbage and recycling containers on them... I was SOAKED with sweat earlier.... but at least I got 3 glasses of water down

on the stuff you stared in egg cartons did you keep them inside? I woudl love to do this with Kait but I am afraid of the cats getting into.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Yes, I kept them on the floor by the patio doors in the kitchen.

coasterqueen replied: Great job! Isn't yardwork fun! I actually like it. I spend at least an hour out in the yard almost every night. Course I have a HUGE yard to maintain.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I like it... but the kids get into the way. Out of the whole yard, they are right at my feet. Even if I'm just sitting there. When I had the shovel and was trying to dig out one of the plants by the tree... I accidentally knocked Zach in the back of the head with the handle of the shovel... he learned quickly that when I say go play "over there", I mean it... lol

But yes, I do like yardwork, when I have the time to do it.

Yeah, Kylie usually either helps me or plays at her playground. Megan usually is digging in the dirt and ripping flower buds off of plants.
