Just remembered - Cute gift idea

Have them draw, paint, color, whatever, on an 11x17 piece of paper trimmed down to the size of a placemat, then have it laminated and use as a placemat! You can also trim them down smaller and use as coasters. I'm going to try it with a photo collage too.

lisar replied: My Nephews school done this for thanksgiving. I went and had lunch with him and they had made us place mats like that. I liked it. I kept mine and me and him used them on Thanksgiving day. He thought is was the coolest cause me and him were the only ones with them

Another idea if you have anything by you, last year for Fathers day my wife had my son paint a mug and put his hand print on it, that is my new coffee mug that I use at work. He was so excited to give it to me, if you have something like that around there somewhere those always make cool gifts.

siblingtoolivia replied: My girlfriend did something like this, she took a picture of each family member/close friend and made a collage of them then laminated it and used it to teach her daughter the people's names and to recognize them!!
