Just got back from Dr. :)
MyLuvBugs wrote: Ok. so I didnt' get to see my reg. Dr. (thank goodness), instead I got to see her associate......and she does ultra sounds at EVERY visit!!!! So, we got to see the baby today and hear the heart beating and everything!!! I'm so excited. We could even see it blinking and all the little ribs and bones in the hands!!! It was just awesome. But notice I said "it"...... The dr. couldn't really tell but thinks its a girl, DH says he thought he saw boy parts, and I couldn't really tell anything from the waist down, so we're still waiting to find out. I'll post a picture later today. We have to scan them in, but I have to get back to work and get some groceries before I can have time to do that. Just thought I'd drop you all a note.

1lilpeanut2love replied: That is SO awesome! I loved hearing and seeing the heartbeat and the little body parts!! I hope you find out the definite sex soon!!
1lilpeanut2love replied: I don't think it is! The person giving the ultrasound must be certified and know what they are doing, and use the jelly-like stuff. At the last about 10 weeks of my pregnancy I was getting sonograms maybe 1-2 times per week at the hospital because I had such high blood pressure and swelling. They just wanted to make sure my girl was okay and I wasn't loosing too much fluid. Just thought I would add this. If it is medically necessary I don't think they are bad. I would say it's bad if someone like Tom Cruise buys one for pleasure.
MyLuvBugs replied: THat's what I thought too, but this is only our second US for this PG.
