TeagansMom609 wrote: Well I just booked our Honeymoon trip to Antigua today. Were going Oct. 14 to the 18th. Just 5 days. (Dont want to leave the baby for any longer then that) I cant wait to go. BUT, now I have to figure out where were getting married. Were having the Mayor marry us. I hate the idea of big weddings. Never wanted one. So I would like something outside, something small. I dont have much time so I have to start thinking! Its going to be the day before we leave which will be a Weds. I guess I will have to wean the baby before I go. Which I REALLY dont want to do, but I dont want to pump all day and night on our vacation either. BIG DECISION

I left Sophia for a 5 day business trip and got by on pumping 3x a day. It really wasn't so bad - first thing in the morning, once during the day and once before bed. She was 5 months old then. The worst part was dumping the milk down the sink If you really don't want to give it up, there are ways around it
Mom2Boyz replied: Congratulations!!!! I'm sure you will have a blast
kit_kats_mom replied: Congrats. That sounds like fun!
Do you have any family coming in town for the wedding? We had a ceremony with family only (about 15 people total). When I was reserving the rooms for the out of town family, I asked if we could have our ceremony in the lobby. They said sure, as long as it didn't interfere with the cocktail hour.
So, we had a short, informal ceremony in the lobby of a small, old hotel and then went to the reception where all of our friends were.
I loved it, it was free, intimate etc. We chose to do it inside because it was New Years Eve and COLD but lots of hotels have nice private courtyards....maybe it's worth looking into?
MommyToAshley replied: Congratulations.
Sounds like a very romantic honeymoon.
And, I think if I had our wedding to do all over, I would have done it less formal and more private and intimate.
TeagansMom609 replied: Hmm...maybe I will pump on my trip. I feel really guilty when I even think about stopping breastfeeding. LOL...I hope the airport doesnt think my pump is some kind of weapon when it goes through X-ray!!!!
A&A'smommy replied: Way cool! congratulations!!! I hope you have the most wonderful time! I had a VERY small wedding outside in a small rose garden, it was beautiful day and while we were saying our vows doves flew over my grandmother was in awe! I hope your wedding is a happy, special day for you!
TeagansMom609 replied: Thanks!
Josie83 replied: You are so lucky! I'm really jealous, Antigua sounds beautiful. I hope you have a fantastic time (how could you NOT!). Are you looking forward to it? My boyfriend and I just set a date for our wedding, well we're trying to get somewhere booked for next june but are really disorganised. Because neither of us have graduated drama school yet (he's got one year to go, I've got three!) we can't afford much for our wedding. We're not sure about honeymoon, but one side of my family are Italian so we could go there! You are so lucky!! xx
Maddie&EthansMom replied: That sounds like so much fun! Good luck with the wedding plans!
TeagansMom609 replied: Were REALLY looking foward to it! I cant wait. Out trip was pretty cheap thank God. It was $817 pp and its all inclusive. We booked it on Expedia.com. I looked and looked for the best price and they have the best prices out of all sites. The travel agent was ALOT more expensive too. So when it comes time I would check out that site. Compare first of course but I found their the cheapest.
amynicole21 replied: You know, I was super worried about that, too! LOL! I just packed mine in a really big suitcase so that I didn't have to carry it through the X-ray at least
