Just an update on us
b&bsmom wrote: Just wanted to thank everyone who has been listening ( reading ) to me vent and list all the bad times we have been going through. I must say my kids make me stronger than I ever thought I could be. Things are slowly starting to look a little better. I am hoping they keep going that way. I just keep my faith and hope and pray things are going to work out. I want you to know that the support I have gotten from this board has been tremendous. Bryce's mollescum seems to be gone we go again on thurs so hopefully that will be it. He enjoys bowling on friday afternoons while I work with the homeschool kids at the lanes. He coudln't be happier. So now he gets to bowl by himself fridays for about 3hrs and then again on his team on sat. He is in heaven. Brittany is doing so well in school and I am so proud of her which makes me feel great. She is reading on a end of kindergarten level and doing well according to her teacher. The bowling alley asked me to bowl monday nights because they needed a bowler and they said they would pay for it ( I told them no at first because I can't afford it) This has made my life a little better. I get out one night a week, doing something I love, and I am bowling very well averaging around the 180's. So as you see life is getting better a little bit. Hope everyone else is doing well and thanks agian for listening to me.

b&bsmom replied: We saw the dermatologist who gave us a few choices. We picked the dot method. where she puts a q-tip with medicine on it on each bump. then she covers it and 4 hrs later I wash it off. it makes the bumps blister and then they go away. We had to do it a few times because we missed some or they were not there when we did the time before. I think we have them all now but we will see on thurs. Another choice was to use like a cream which would take longer but would not cause any pain ( bryce had some discomfort with this way) the problem was it takes longer and with all the problems I had about it I wanted it done as quickly as possible. Hope that helps.
A&A'smommy replied: OMG I was NOT told about this option I was told that they would either put this stuff on it that would irritate her skin or dig out the head with this scoop like thing How long did he have it? Would you reccamend waiting for it to go away or get an app?
b&bsmom replied: Well this is the irrate the skin method I would think. I did it because I don't know if you read back in the summer I lost my nanny job because of the mollescum. My employer found out he had it and said she heard it was highly contagious and it left scars and so on. My dermatologist and doctor told me it was not a big deal. You can leave it alone. Bryce had it about a year but it started spreading so I felt we needed to do something. It was behind the back of his knee and when it was hot during the summer it would get irrated and spread a little. If it is in a spot where it is bugging her or if it is spreading I would suggest taking care of it. I am not sure about the cream thing it was an option but it took a long time and may not be as effective. If you need more info let me know.
