Just a quickie update - on Logan

Things went well, the surgeon got in a new valve and said leakage was minimal. WHEW!! He is in ICU now. They are weaning him off the ventilator, should be off it in another hour or so. He is covered in tubes and lines and alarms, but he looks surprisingly good. I'll post a series of pics when we get home.
I know I said that I wouldn't be on today or tomorrow, but I really needed some normality right now. Please don't think I am a bad mom for not being right at his side.

I know it's heartwrenching to see your little baby all covered with medical paraphenalia, but it's all to a good end. And don't feel guilty for taking time to catch your breath. You need to regenerate so you can be there for him for the long recovery process. He's safe, in good hands, and he knows how much you love him.
