Just a few pics from our Memphis trip
coasterqueen wrote: I forgot the camera for most of our activities (duh Karen, lol) but Dh had his FEMA camera with him, but it wouldn't hold but a few pics at a time due to no memory card, only internal memory.

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Aww it looks like you had a great time! The girls look so cute ~ I love how Megan is holding onto the link thingys in her sleep.
Karen ~ you look so SKINNY!! I'm jealous.
booey2 replied: They are precious, as for the Santa photo, I have a couple like that where we were just at the mall and the line was so little we had to have the pic taken then and I kinda like the ones where they aren't dressed up, it makes it look more homey and not so contrived. JMO
Jamison'smama replied: Great pictures, beautiful family!! Kylie's hair is getting long--in that picture of her from talking to santa, her ringlets are adorable! I really want to go to that Children's Museum--looks like fun!
3xsthefun replied: Nice pictures! The girls are so cute!
coasterqueen replied: We had a blast at that museum. Kylie wanted to go back again several times, lol, but it costs and once was enough for that. I'm curious as to what your sister thinks of it, I'm sure she's been there. We just don't have really neat children's museums like that around here. There is one in St. Louis, but I thought this one was better by far.
Kylie woke up this morning and said "Are we going to the Buseum, mommy?". I told her no because we are home. She was very upset, poor girl!
coasterqueen replied: Thanks everyone for your kind words. BTW, Sara....I'm not skinny, just good at hiding my flab. Baggy shirts do wonders for that and bootcut jeans from the side view make me look slimmer. Now bootcut from the front view makes me look like a huge old pear because my thighs are huge.
kayla's mama replied: Glad you enjoyed your trip to Memphis. Thats where I'm at. Too bad we couldn't have met up. Did you make it to the Peabody Hotel to see the ducks. They come down an elevator and waddle to the fountain in the lobby. Its a must see. They've been doin it for about 50years. Anyway, glad you had fun. I just love the Memphis zoo. Did you see the pandas. I think I've enough.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Adorable!! Children's Museum looks fun! Why isn't Santa smiling?
coasterqueen replied: Awww, I didn't know you were in Memphis . I know Brenda's sister is from there too. I thought about seeing if anyone from the area wanted to hook up but since DH was very good at not answering his FEMA phone or email I thought it best to just spend the time we had with him and him only.
We didn't go see the ducks . We didn't do much besides the Children's Museum, Memphis Zoo and the Galleria. We wanted to see the ducks, go to Graceland and do other sight seeing but we left most of that to do on Sunday and Kylie got sick/had to go to the ER (which was a nightmare ) so that all went to the waist side. It was fine though because all that running around that we did do was more than we could handle.
BTW, we did see the pandas but they were sleepin Our favorite exhibit was the creatures of the night. Kylie's was the penguins swimming.
coasterqueen replied: He actually was, not sure if it was the beard. In all the other pics we have of him and the girls he was. It could be because right before us an older couple wanted their picture with him and they weren't satisfied the 10+ times it was taken so they were sitting on his lap for almost a 1/2 hour. NO JOKE!
MommyToAshley replied: Great pictures!!! The girls are beautiful and looks like they had a great time. How funny, we went to the Children's museum here this weekend as well. Ashley loved the make-believe store and shopping cart and the animal hospital. The one here doesn't seem quite as sophisticated as the one you went to in Memphis, but it was still fun.
I'm glad you got to spend some time with your DH. I bet the girls were so happy to see their Daddy. I love the picture of the three of them. And, YOU look awesome!
Kaitlin'smom replied: what great pic. Sounds like a great time with daddy. I love the pic with santa. You look awsome in the pic so skinny, all your hard work is paying off.
Boys r us replied: Aww I love the pictures! It looks like you guys got into a little of everything while you were there!! I bet seeing you guys will give Ryan the mental boost he needed to get through the rest of his time away!
