Jury comes back with a verdict... - NOT meant to start a debate...

Bless her family sleep.gif

hopefulmomtobe replied: To me.....that is JUSTICE!

redplaydoh replied: At least it is some justice for her!

stella6979 replied:
I honestly don't know how they could have voted any other way. Too bad it will be some time before he's put to death and of course it will be more humane than the way that beautiful little girl was killed.

luvmykids replied:
ITA!

mummy2girls replied: GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he deserves something liek that to do that to that sweet inocent girl! Im usually agasint the death penalty but this case affected me more when you guys brought it up. I never knew this happened until you guys started talking about it:(

hoosier momma replied: Nothing can ever replace her or make this ordeal right with her family, but it is a small piece of justice.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Mentally retarded or not, he still did what he did and deserves everything he gets. Especially the part in jail before they kill him. Funny how murderers and rapists and burglars may be criminals...but they pretty much all have a soft spot for children, and will likely make him their bit**. At least I hope they do.

kit_kats_mom replied: I almost think it's too good for him. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that he won't be wasting any more oxygen but IMO I think that life in solitary would be better. He has to have some demons in his mind that would just make him suffer...that's what I wish for him...suffering....lots and lots of it.

stella6979 replied:
Unfortunately a lot of the pedophiles are kept secluded from the general population specifically for that reason. Why they do that, I'll never know. mad.gif

lisar replied: That is Justice. Now her father can start the healing process. Couey deserves everything he gets.

punkeemunkee'smom replied: Please don't misunderstand me-I wish I could flip the switch myself! He will not suffer on this earth nearly enough to even come close to justice IMO.

I don't get that either! I think a ticket to the general population with a tattoo on their foreheads proclaiming their crime is the least they deserve....

stella6979 replied:
I couldn't agree more. I mean, you kidnap, rape and kill a 9 year old girl and where does it get you? Your own cell (probably with a tv), 3 meals a day, excercise, and all the protection you need. It makes me so angry. mad.gif

punkeemunkee'smom replied:
ITA! It saddens and sickens me that the value of the life and 'rights' of a monster like this man ,and the thousands of others like him, have somehow come to supercede those of their many victims! growl.gif IMHO when you harm a child- sexually or physically- you forfeit your 'rights' as a human being....I feel like if you are so evil that the cries of a child pleading with you for mercy fall on deaf ears-you DESERVE a fate much worse than death..... bawling.gif growl.gif

BAC'sMom replied:

You said it girl. hug.gif But then again you know how I feel about the matter. wink.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: I absolutely agree!

Hallelujah for the jury deciding this!

lisar replied:
Well the thing is I have a friend who is a guard here in a prison and they will get released to the general public. Opps it was an accident is normally what they say after they get the crap beat out of them. They are treated much worse in prison than most people cause alot of them have kids and want that to happen. Thats what Justin has told me. They will send them out there, let them get beat up. And when the fight is half over they will go break it up. And the guys who beat him up they walk away like nothing happened. Cause the guards dont care about the people who mess with kids. Justin tells me stories all the time about this. I just hope he goes to that prison cause its here in Florida. Florida prisons are horrible.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: sleep.gif I heard about this and I'm glad that justice has been done. That poor girl, it's just so tragic! sleep.gif

TheOaf66 replied: good, now if everyone would follow suit we might clean up some of the garbage in this country

kristy-n-chad replied: I go against the grain here. I do not believe that it is our place to judge others. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.... I certainly can't. I can pray for salvation for his soul, and comfort and healing for her family.

lisar replied:
I agree.

MomToJade&Jordan replied:
My thoughts exactly!

A&A'smommy replied: wow!!! I'm glad her family is getting some justice!!

Calimama replied:
I agree. wink.gif

Cece00 replied: GOOD.

3xsthefun replied: Good. Sounds like some justice for her and her family.

Crystalina replied: Justice!!

I was a Corrections Officer and they are not put their for their protection (unless it's a high profile case like this). Most of the pedophiles and homosexuals want to be in the hole and have to do something to get in there. I've walked a few guys out and as they are being escorted out they say, "See ya tonight." Within hours they are back. They don't even unpack their lockers because they know. To keep getting put back in the hole (for your safety) looks bad on the ones that eventually want to leave though.

Nina J replied: God bless Jessica and her family sleep.gif

ZandersMama replied: I think the death penalty is too easy for him. He needs to suffer. Be tormented the was she was.

jcc64 replied: I can't imagine the pain Jessica's family must endure, knowing she died as she did. I am no fan of the death penalty, and certainly not in the case of someone who's retarded, but if there ever was an arguement for it- this is it. If this is what this family needs to reach some level of peace, so be it.
