Journals to your kids
HuskerMom wrote: Do any of you write a journal type thing to your kids? I started one for Keith recently. I just thought it might be interesting for him when he's an adult to read about everything that was happening now. My mom started one for me when I was a baby and still writes in it.
grapfruit replied: That's a cool idea!

moped replied: Yes Yes I do have one - a blue fancy coiled book with nice pages that I write important things and little silly stories - I just bought one for the new one too - I started it in the hospital the day he was born
MotherForever2043 replied: Same here!
mom21kid2dogs replied: My husband has written a letter to Olivia every day since the day he found out we were pregnant. What a treasure those are. I'm lucky to have gotten the entries done in her baby books. I do yearly scrapbooks for her, though, and they have some journaling.
moped replied: every day???????????
WOW
mom21kid2dogs replied: Yeah, not a typo~he writes one every day. He's definately one of a kind!
luvmykids replied: OMGoodness, that is the sweetest thing I've ever heard!
lovemy2 replied: The journaling I do throughout my scrapbooks is written to my kids to tell them they story -
lovemy2 replied: Does he have a brother
That seriously brought tears to my eyes
Nina J replied: Cheryl, thats amazing
I wouldn't have the patience, I'd probably either only remember to write something every few months then my poor children would look back on it as adults and feel awful because of the lack of entries. Or I'd probably only remember to write something when I was in a bad mood and they'd only get to read about their tantrums
