John and Kate +8

Kind of like her mother. I watched last night when they went to the bakery to make cupcakes and Kate drove me nuts! I was so mad at her by the time the show was over. She didn't want the kids to get dirty (and they were supposed to make cupcakes ) but she also didn't want to change their clothes after church. Hello! Don't complain if you don't want to change their church clothes and you KNOW your taking them to a bakery.

I know! She's just like my sister. She has 7 kids and none of them can even look at dirt. Her and Kate are one in the same. I don't even like her coming over to my house because I don't clean well enough for her.

Sometimes I get the impression that they would be divorced if they didn't have so much responsibility. Sometime Jon just looks stuck..

Still, though, I think I'd have to get in her face over quite a bit of that. But if he did he'd somehow be the bad, abusive husband and all of that crap.

But honestly, if I had 8 kids, 6 of which were the same age, I can't say that my husband and I would be a bucket of sunshine all of the time either.

My favorite episode was the one where they were all sick and they were doing the interview portion and she stopped talking, looked at him and asked him if he could breath more quieter.....I seriously laughed out loud. How many of us have not had those moments where we were starting to get aggitated by something.

I don't think she is awful, I just think they have their hands full. I'll admit it, I've asked people to not breathe so loud

Thats another thing. I think alot of people can't stand her because she says what she is thinking out loud instead of keeping it in. I admit that some mean thoughts go through my head sometimes, but I don't say them. She just says it openly is all. Thats the way I see it anyways.

BAC'sMom replied: I love the show but at times I have a hard time stomaching Kate. She needs to learn to relax and let the children be children. I am glad to see that Jon has finally sprouted some man berries and is being more vocal with Kate. There is no way in heck that my DH would ever put up with me talking/screaming at him like he was a dog. JMO

jcc64 replied: Trust me guys, I'm married to a guy just like Jon, (maybe it's a Korean thing) and the reason he can put up with her is b/c everything she says goes in one ear and out the other. She knows it, too. That's not to say I'm anything like Kate- I'm a complete slob, as is everyone else in my house, which is also a mess most of the time, and I don't have a germ thing. She's wound pretty tight, but she's also self-aware and has a sense of humor about herself; I think they have a nice family dynamic. I find them very refreshing, tantrums and all. I think it's great that they let everyone see that family life is a real grind sometimes. It's what separates them from the Duggar family, who seem carved out of cardboard.

stella6979 replied: I acutally don't mind her comments and think she can be funny sometimes, it's when she doesn't just let the kids have fun that bugs me. I could never understand the stress that goes along with raising 8 kids, but sometimes you just gotta roll with the punches. And I hate that she makes everything into such a big deal. I gotta say though, I really admire her organizational skills.
