A&A'smommy replied: no baby...i just got up from a REALLY nice nap! Im going to clean the house and im probably not going to get to walk today but i have stairs so im going to use them! Or maybe i will do Pg yoga/excercise, i have two of those dvds...im going to do something this kid needs to come out!
mummy2girls replied: Run up and down those stairs dear. And get your hubby to help when he gets home..LOL. i was wondering jessyann are you going to work after the baby is born? or are you going to be a stay at home mom? what does hubby do?
i hope im not too nosey...just curious.
A&A'smommy replied: I dont mind you asking...for a while im going to stay at home. Dh works at the holiday inn express hotel here BEST hotel in town! ALWAYS full!!! I could work the front desk with him if i wanted to his boss said he would let me if dh taught me the front desk...but i dont want to work for him (grrrrr). Anyways maybe next spring (after Alyssa turns 1) i need to start college, not really looking forward to it because i have NO IDEA what i want to do. I would like to get a job but i dont want to go to school and work when i have a baby that will probably need her mom around!
mummy2girls replied: yes..i know it is hard to leave your baby when you have to work or go to school. And doing both can be hard but in the end very rewarding. Im lucky and am able to bring jen with me to work now so i have her with me all day. youll do great with whatever you choose to do
A&A'smommy replied: I dont think i could take my kids to work with me..maybe sometimes i know this sounds selfish but i want something just for me! But i dont want that until she is in school and that is when i want to work ONLY while she is in school...but what can you do? What do you do? It sounds like a great job! Dont you work with diabled children?
mummy2girls replied: I am now in a fulltime position with one family in where i do home care. I am able to take care of a downs girl and jenna. the girl helps me with jenna and changing her and feeding and such. Its good for the girl and jenna just LOVES her. I have a few days off right now but am going back to work next week. I just felt bad that i was dropping jen off at daycare as i go off taking care of other peoples kids.
A&A'smommy replied: that sounds like a GREAT job...i LOVE children. And if i could put that and something else i love together and no i would be doing good then i would know what i want to do... what made you decide thats what you want to?
Kaitlin'smom replied: sorry to but in but have you thought of babysitting....no not like we did as kids but full time. Kaitlin has a stitter that I pay to watch her while I work, she is close and great with her. She had to do something cause she cant work out side the home right now. Her son has Leukemia, so she has to be home to take him to appointments and such. Sorry it was just a though.........
A&A'smommy replied: no i think that was a very good idea...but i was thinking more like studying child development and then working with younger children..playing one on one kind of stuff while the parents are at work...i could get my licence while Alyssa is young and then when she starts school i could start to. I will have to think about this for a while but it really sounds like fun to me...mayb eventually i can open up a day care with my SIL (she was going into teaching until she got her licence and started keeping kids). Anyways its something great to think about....
Kaitlin'smom replied: yep something to think about and a way to earn extra money.
I hope that comes soon!
mummy2girls replied: Ive always been fascinated with disabled kids..mentally and physically. They always seem to have a smile on thier face even though they are going through alot. It makes you think that what you have is precious and to not take things as little as walking and talking for granted. Plus my son i lost 4 years ago would have been disabled mentally and physically if he survived his ordeal and that made me want to be with kids like that more....
